“The best cheeseburger in the quaintest little bar and grill! From the moment I stepped in until I left, this place felt like home. The staff is extremely friendly and was quick to get my order. The cheeseburger with PB&J was OUTSTANDING!!! Yes, you heard....peanut butter and raspberry jelly on a cheeseburger with bacon. How does it work...who knows...but this is the best cheeseburger I have had in a very long time-if ever! The bar decor is everything you'd expect from a small town bar. Cozy, warm feeling with great hospitality. “We stopped for lunch on a roadtrip after reading the rave reviews and were not disappointed. The building was a little difficult to find, being that it's just a house in a neighborhood next to the school, but once we did, we were greeted warmly. We had the Italian melt and chicken melt with pasta salad and sweet tea. Let me tell you, the homemade bread that their sandwiches are served on is to die for! Both the server and the cook came to check on us and ensured everything was to our liking. Highly recommend! Do keep in mind that they do not accept credit cards: cash, Venmo, or checks only. A great value too -- $25 for 2 sandwiches and drinks. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!”

“Absolutely love this place! My kids and I come in here everyday and get a Tea. My kids get drinks without the liftoff, tea, and aloe and they love them! It’s a comfortable place and kind people. We love to sit and visit with Melinda and Tony. They do amazing work and are amazing people!”

“Loved this place! The doughnuts were hot and fresh, and tasted so good. Sugared just right. They had plenty of options to choose from. The cream filled were one of my kids favorite because they weren’t filled until you choose your flavor. So they tasted that much better as opposed to other places where the dough is kinda soggy from the cream being in for so long… but this place had it right! The owners were super nice and friendly. “We had a party of 4 so a variety of food. Everything was great! We had sliced brisket, jalapeño/cheese and regular smoked sausage, catfish, kids chicken strip and the salad bar all wonderful and the salad bar was so fresh! Walked out talking about the next time we come back!”

“When you pull into an eating establishment with the name SONIC, you would naturally expect it to be fast. Well, this one in Seymour was definitely just that. But, not only was it fast, it was good too and hot! The young gentleman car hop was also very nice and quick. So, if you're going on Texas hwy 277 by Seymour, take the 277 business road and stop by the Sonic and relax, you'll be back on the Hwy before you know it.”

“This might be an older building, that makes you wonder if you should even stop, and you might think you’ve stepped back into time, but the service and people are the nicest you’ll ever freakin meet, I promise you that. We drove hours and had to decide between Dairy Queen and here; and it did not disappoint. The last thing you want after driving for hours with kids in the car, is bad attitudes when you stop. The people who work at this Chicken E are the FRIENDLIEST. What a breath of fresh air for my entire family of 9. We only waited about ten minutes for all of our food and they went out of their way, above and beyond, to make sure we were taken care of, plus some! Also, the food tasted the same as any other ones I’ve been to. My only complaint is that there is no baby changing station in the bathroom- other than that it was fine! Thank you so much, guys! “Can't say about atmosphere when you go thru the drive thru. The gentleman who took my order & brought my food out to me was so pleasant!! I was there in the middle of the night traveling thru Texas & New Mexico. My cheeseburger was awesome. All the veggies were fresh, but I was shocked at the size of this burger. Usually a fat food burger is 3 inches in diameter. This burger was 6 inches. It was huge & yummy!! Onion rings were great! Pleasant surprise on a long late night drive!! Thank you Dairy Queen!!”
