Y’all have to eat here if you’re passing through. My husband ordered the steak fingers and said “you can tell everything is homemade”. My cheeseburger and onion rings were outstanding!

I have no idea how I've missed this place. Such good food and great, friendly service. The hamburger steak was perfect and the onion rings were amazing. The fresh salad bar was great as well. Definitely recommend this little place and will be stopping by when I'm passing through Seymour.

We were passing through and took a chance. We were finishing our 9 states in 7 day vacation road trip. This was one of the best meals we had. You will wait for your food but it is worth it! Go to McDs if you want processed fast food, but when in Rome, stop and get some real food! Great service/great food!

Ask for all you can eat fish. Only had one order. Wasn’t gonna try the second. Told waitress this. Got bill. Charged me for all you can eat. Price was higher than the website. Did not down grade me to a regular order. Will not be going back. And the free cobbler they offered that I refused does not make up the difference of $4.00 more roughly that I paid.

Great place! The food smelled awesome and all the pics made us want to eat there so bad! Had a group of 27 (mostly kids) the lady was very friendly in helping me find another place in town to take them to eat, but was told their wasnt enough room to accommodate us, as a buisness owner personally I wouldve brought some tables together to have made room and feed those hungry folks and gained that buisness. Cause we spent about 500$ down the road at rock cafe

Great little hole-in-the-wall. We had 3 people and all of the food was fresh, hot and cooked well. Waitress was very nice. We will stop again.

Ok, so perhaps I'm just not used to this.
A little hole in the wall place adjacent a motel. I would've never known it was there had I not been across the street and honestly I wasn't even going to go in. I'm glad I did. The food wasn't really good and the environment; well ok. Now that service. Those ladies were so friendly and helpful and just good people. Kinda makes you think about going back.

Loved this place! Food was incredible! My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steak. I got it with fried okra and a salad from the salad bar. My husband ordered his chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese.
The chicken fried steak covered half of the plate and was delicious!! The salad bar had many items to choose from to put in the salad.
We also ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were AMAZING!

Hand breaded chicken Fried Steak, hand breaded onion rings, great meal!
After a week has passed, I feel that I must add to this review. I've been thinking about that chicken Fried Steak all week and wish I lived closer.
I've eaten chicken Fried Steak my entire life all across the state. Eaten at Jake & Dorothys in Stephenville, Mary's in Strawn, Lambert in Missouri and a myriad of other places. This place ranks right up there with the best places in the state. Definitely a top 5 chicken Fried Steak. Make sure you get the hand breaded onion rings as well!
The hamburger steak with brown gravy and a ton of mushrooms is no slouch either.
Off the beaten path, but if you close, definitely worth a stop.
I'd give them 6 stars if possible.
