2/01/2026 at 7:30 pm - 8:05 pm BEST DAIRY QUEEN EVER!! Whoever were the people working here today and around those times are awesome. Very polite, patient, fast paced, and on top of things. Amazing prices compared to other Dairy Queen’s, well cleaned and managed, well stocked in the dining area with napkins and other, bathrooms were clean and well stocked as well, etc. The food didn’t taste gross and didn’t taste overly greasy, it tasted like ACTUAL real food and was fresh. Loved it and will be favoriting this specific Dairy Queen so we can come back if we’re ever in this area again!!

I’ve been through a few times and parked across the street, but tonight, I wanted somewhere to sit and have a meal…as I crossed the street, talking to my daughter on the phone, I informed her that there was sonic, and Dairy Queen…they both serve the same types of food; how does one choose…?? Her response, eat at whichever has the most customers…so, I walked in to a packed DQ, and was not disappointed…Mr Nathan quickly welcomed me, took my order, offered my drink cup and handed me my blizzard, flipped of course…as I patiently awaited my food, I loved walking around the area reading the history placards throughout the building…I knew I made the correct choice the second Mr Nathan delivered my food and checked to see if all was correct…the burger, onion rings, and one taco were actually beyond expectations…I had to save the other taco for later in the night…maybe because I filled up on my blizzard before my food was hot and ready…the rest of the crew, amazing…!!! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and treated each other as family…not those family that just show up around Christmas for gifts, but those family that gather every weekend for cook outs and games…thank you all for the great food and amazing service…I now understand why more of the locals were at your location and not over at sonic…even the local officers of the law drove through to grab snacks…great job DQ family..!!! Much appreciated…!!!

I suppose they were nice, took them 20 minutes to make ONE taco and a kids chicken strips, and the 2 people behind us were served first at the window, maybe they should worry about cooking food instead of eating it!

Stopped in at DQ in Seymour and the experience was pretty disappointing. We waited around 30 minutes for our order, even though it wasn’t very busy. Several tables in the dining area were dirty and didn’t look like they’d been wiped down in a while. Service felt below par overall. The one positive was that the food was at least hot when we finally got it.

Only put 1 star because I can’t put nothing, workers suck, food sucks, takes forever, stinks, cashier couldn’t take order because they needed to brush teeth. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy . And even worse the sauce costs 80 cents ordered chicken tendies and told me sauce ain’t come with WTH . This place needs to be shut down.

We pulled up to the drive through order station and heard “be right with you”. Then we sat for 20 minutes and didn’t hear a peep. We pulled around to window and the lady says “sorry I just got it working”. Sooo you couldn’t have come outside to tell us that? We could’ve ordered 20 min ago at the window if you had just not been lazy. We finally order our two blizzards and then here we are sitting AGAIN for ten minutes just for the lady to come back “what are you waiting on?” Like what?! I watched the entire time we sat.. Everyone inside waiting for the simplest things. At least 5 people working and not a one looked like they had a single ambitious bone in their body. Seemed like they all smoked before shift and couldn’t care less. We won’t be coming back and you shouldn’t either.

Didn't get my fries with the combo and lady at the counter should get a different job if she hate this one so bad
We stopped here for an order of fries and a cone. 23 minutes later, we had to reapproach, and ask for status. One girl, Leah was working and running circles around everyone else. This place needs a massive deep clean, some maintenance and then some retraining or extra staffing. I’ve stopped at this DQ for years but tonight was just poor poor service.

There are two chains that make a better chocolate shake than all the rest: DQ and Chick-Fil-A. The shakes we got at the Seymour DQ were great: not too thick, and not too thin. So glad we stopped in!
