I wasted most of my lunch break Friday waiting on my food. The server helped his female freinds who arrived after me before helping me. The brisket was dry and flavorless. It did not seem fresh. The turkey had plenty of flavor but was dry as a bone. Portion size of meats is very lacking. I revived two small dry shriveled pieces of brisket and two smalls pieces of dried turkey. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it came from a can. And the potato salad was very lacking as well.

Second time here. If I am ever passing through Seymour I will continue to stop here. Both times had good food and fair pricing. Give em a shot!

Very friendly. We went late on a Sunday afternoon so they were out of most meats. I would suggest going a bit earlier to avoid that.

It's worth a stop! The brisket was juicy and tender. The pecan cobbler was so good! Very generous portion. Kind and generous people. The outside appearance was deceiving.
I would definitely visit again.

Passing through, got a brisket sandwich and macaroni, neither had much flavor and the fountain drinks were horrible.

The salad bar was great. The bbq was OK. We tried the turkey, pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. The turkey was the best out of them all. Ribs were overdone, falling off the bone if that's your preference. Chopped brisket had quite a bit of fat. Pulled pork was a little dry. The bbq beans were Texas bbq without a lot of seasoning but still tasty as beans by themselves. The green beans were Italian cut, most likely out of a can with no seasonings.
The establishment is in a small town with repeat customers, so they're doing what the locals like. Otherwise, they'd not be in business. It's just not the bbq taste I prefer. I'm a KCBS certified judge, which doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but I thought I'd mention it. I've traveled a lot and tasted many bbq establishments.
Great overall atmosphere and building. There's some charm to be had for a visit.

My husband and I visited this establishment on a road trip, a quick google search for BBQ lead us there. So glad we stopped! I ordered the jalepeno cheese sausage and brisket, came with two sides, I chose waffle fries and Mac n cheese. The food is all flavorful and the BBQ sauce was delicious! Mac n cheese was creamy, fresh and piping hot, the waffle fries were freshly made and a little crispy, (perfect in my opinion) my husband ordered both sausage options on the menu, his two sides were waffle fries and Cole slaw. He wasn’t a big fan of the Cole slaw but thoroughly enjoyed the rest of his food. The atmosphere were quaint and cute with an (enclosed)outside seating area. The staff were all friendly, we were even greeting by some other customers (locals I’d assume) that were dining when we walked in. Our bill came to $35 and some change so very affordable. We were served more than we could finish so I’d say a great price! All in all, I’d rate a 9/10, only because the meat was served a little on the cooler side.
