We had never heard of this place until a couple of days ago when we were driving around. What a nice surprise when we ate there last night. The food is great. I got the ribeye and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My only suggestion would be to add a green vegetable like green beans to the menu (this is not a complaint). We will definitely come back
OK, so there are a couple of things I always look for in a country-style restaurant. First, are there lots of locals? Second, is there a sense of pride in the staff and in the food? And third, are the owners on hand and take and make the time to interact, seek feedback, etc.BOONDOX beautifully ticked all those boxes during Sunday lunch buffet yesterday. The food was great! To start off, the rolls were probably the absolute best thing I've ever eaten. Served with a sweet butter that everyone agreed was far better than Texas Roadhouse. We will be back for the rolls if nothing else. I ordered the chicken, my husband and daughter shared a steak, and my son had the chicken fried steak.
