I really want to give it five stars. We ate there twice and everything was delicious! Amazing food and great prices. Unfortunately I think the owners are not professionals at the business end. We’ve tried to go three more times and though it was in the posted open hours they were not open. One of the days we went the staff was driving in as we were leaving. The staff is very friendly, but if your hours are posted, please be open or communicate that out someway. Sadly, after three failed attempts and getting our hopes up we are done. I wish them luck. I hope they can succeed. Again, the food was wonderful!

Outstanding southern food... best greens I have ever had in a restaurant! Savory and tender beef tips and corn bread with the perfect crumb texture. Staff was very friendly. Will absolutely go back again when we come back to Sherman.

Been there twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Limited menus both times, but the food is very good southern-style cooking. Pancakes are some of the best ever. Better than IHop for sure, even tho there is only one style. Old-fashioned diner type. Lunch menu includes greens that are some of the best I've ever eaten and cornbread that took me back to my childhood and kin in West Virginia who knew how to make what we called "Hillbilly Cornbread."Staff is super warm and friendly and makes one feel like a guest at their dinner table.
Parking: Easy side parking.

We have had 3 of the lunch specials so far and my favorite is the peppered steak … This place has the potential to be a go to place and can’t beat the lunch or dinner specials . Friendly staff and located just behind Austin College . We have only done carry out so can’t comment on dine in service .

Waited 30 just to get our drinks, then another 15 to have the only waitress give our order to a table that arrived 10 minutes after us. As I walked out without eating, heard the other party stating this isn’t our order and I advised you’re right , y’all have our order. During this the waitress started to argue with us that they order the same thing which they didn’t! Don’t waste your time! We even ordered the daily special and nothing was ready!
