“We just finished an amazing lunch of delicious ribs, a pineapple smoked sausage link, BBQ beans, jalapeño cornbread casserole (got to have it every time), jalapeño popper potato salad and cabbage. Not a single bite left on any plates. Lucas took exception care of us (and the whole place), keeping the tables clean, food delivered, and checking on everyone. You can’t beat Cackle &Oink for outstanding food and service!”

Drinks stayed full, food came out perfect, and he genuinely made us feel welcome. You can tell he actually cares about doing a great job. I loved how we were asked about dessert choices before bringing out the check as so many servers don’t realize how bad it looks when they bring check 1st.”

“I have been in Sherman for 3 years. I have frequented McDonald's. Service was okay, food was okay.
Now, suddenly, it has changed. I have been approached by a Hispanic girl, a black man and black girl. I am amazed how polite, courteous and helpful they all are, trying to help me out.
Something changed, I'm delighted to go there. The food is still McDonald's, Im happy. Pleae commend your employees for treating us so great. New employees? Great hires. I'll be there more often.”

I wish I had gotten her name but she handled the situation with complete grace. To those individuals, you should be ashamed for bringing your no home training to a public place.”

“I have to stop and take the time to give 5 stars and if I could give 10, I would! First, I want to give major props to the hostess, Sierra, for being amazing and patient with me over the phone as I had many questions for some special clients that we had to cater for. She talked me through my entire order and even took the time to step away and ask a couple of questions for me to make sure that I had everything taken care of. You’re very lucky if you find employees like this these days, she is a gem for sure.

Next, I want to say how grateful I am for their general manager, Katrina, and I don’t know if I spelled that correctly:-) she called me with the total and went over the order with me and we made a couple of changes that were going to make our event the best possible and make sure that our clients are well fed and happy. We haven’t even had the barbecue yet and I already know it’s going to be amazing because of the way both of these people interacted with me and spoke about their barbecue.

So whoever is out there that wants to know, your team is doing a stellar job and they went above and beyond to take care of me and because of that, we will be back for sure! We feed a lot of hungry folks, and your name is at the top of our list when we are out in the area. Thank you so much for your service and I can’t wait for everyone to try the barbecue tomorrow.”

“I prefer the sides being a la carte and not assigned to each entree. . . However our steaks were perfectly cooked, juicy, tender and delicious, as always. Also, they are always very good with substitutions for me and my wheat allergy. This is the second time we’ve eaten here in the past few months, and they’d run out of baked potatoes both times. We loved the turkey Brie egg rolls made with rice paper for our appetizer! Overall, we’ll still give it a 4.5 star rating!”

Saturday for the 1st Time I've Been there and I Must Say that The Fried chicken, With Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans Was Absolutely The best Fried chicken I've had Since Living in Texas. “I will be honest I don’t usually think to go to cowboy chicken , but my husband brought me the Santa Fe salad to work , and it’s the top 5 best salads I’ve ever had ! It came in a huge bowl with tons of goodies pinto beans, cheese, corn, and very fresh . The chicken breast on top plenty of it! I wanted to go today but roads are too bad lol 😂 def recommend!”

Basically, it was over cooked, which made it too dry and chewy. The breading was even over cooked. Basically we were very disappointed with our meal , especially after spending nearly $40.”
