We were looking for a new restaurant to try that was fresh and unique. Camino Viejo is a treasure that is hidden downtown Sherman. It’s so hidden, we walked right past the door. Once we entered the restaurant, it was magical. The food is prepared fresh, so the smells are divine. The walls are decorated authentically. They have TVs. It is BYOB. Came in looking for tortilla soup with my family. Soup was great, it had rice though which was surprising but not bad. Place was empty when we came in, so service was great. Fish tacos were awesome and so were the ranch chicken fajitas. Would definitely come back.
