So goal was to order at la placita but by accident we ordered at Los primos because we did not remember the name????.. anyhow.. glad we did because the food was so good! We had popusas and plantains. Would definitely recommend. The place is difficult to spot and may appear sketch, but do not let it fool you!!
My wife and I are from the DfW area. That being said we drove in from Paris, Tx. The place has been remodeled from an old gas station and does seem to be in the process of figuring out how to arrange the atmosphere. Now, down to the good stuff. My wife is American but her family is from El Salvador, I have to say the food is as authentic as it gets. They have Kolashampan, pupusas, and platanos Fritos! It's a very authentic experience inside. Very small place but super tasty food! I had the loroco pupusa and a chicken one. The portions were big and they did not skimp on the stuffing inside. Also, the curtido (cabbage slaw) was fresh and tangy. I also had a piece of the homemade baklava pastry - again it was fresh and well prepared. Nice people here too!
