“I have had the pleasure to eat here once and order from them another time. We ordered different things each time. Everything was just fantastic. You can tell that everything is homemade, even things like the corned beef and the potato chips. I think the bread is house made too or at least ordered fresh. It's just fantastic. And the people are friendly, welcoming, and quick too. When we are there, it was a chilly, cloudy day and the cozy but fun cafe setting was perfect. You could tell the locals frequented loyally. When we ordered delivery, everything was packaged with care, and the sandwiches were perfectly intact when they arrived. (HUGE sandwiches by the way). A must-visit!“

“My family has been eating at Teriyaki Jar since it opened. We've never had a bad plate and although we order pretty much the same thing each time, we have tried other items. The food is always well prepared and flavorful. The restaurant is clean. We usually eat inside but have ordered for take out often in past year. Prices are reasonable and portions plentiful. Never have we been disappointed.“
“Chef Angel has become our regular “jam” for mouth watering Mexican food in Sherman. Now that we’ve been here a dozen+ times we know is consistently awesome.We have many favorites but for your first time I recommend you try the Fajitas - you will not be let down. Kaylee is our usual server and she remembers our preferences and is always so nice to us. “We tried this for the first time Friday night. The cashier and manager were both nice and helpful. The food came out fast and was brought to us. That rotisserie chicken was soo good!! The strawberry lemonade was the real deal or the lemonade jalapeño cucumber was so refreshing. We received plenty of food and it didn't break the bank. Happy we tried this place out. Kiddos have been begging to go back! You also get to see the fire rotisserie - super cool!“
“Huge biscuits! And, I mean HUGE!Great place, nice atmosphere, awesome breakfast and wonderful people. For me to judge a place on their breakfast it has to be just your basic two egg breakfast (sunny side up) with hash browns, sausage and biscuits & gravy. Oh, and Tabasco. Well, they did not disappoint. Everything was darn near perfect. The biscuit was just a little bit heavy for my liking but still really good nonetheless.And, to top it off, I went in and left the lights on on my car and one of their guys was nice enough to come out and give me a jump.Thank you!“

And after the spectacular seasoning on the fried pickles and the wonderful flavors and textures in the New England Clam Chowder, the fries seemed a little plain.“

“Dog friendly patio seating! We decided on Old Iron Post since our dog kid was with us. It did not disappoint all the food was good (cheeseburger, buffalo chicken wrap, fries apple cobbler). We also had a Margarita flight (Fireball, peach, baby blue and mimosa) they were all amazing. Our server Erin, was really great and very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stop in again next time we are in Sherman.“

I had the chicken Alfredo and while it was tasty, I couldn’t help but notice that the sauce was a little watery. One of the other people with me also noticed that the sauce that came with their tilapia and shrimp was also rather watery.Besides all that, it was pretty good a solid 7-8/10“

“Was denied veteran’s, first responders or senior citizens discounts. Was informed that corporate makes contributions to veterans when a person purchases a rocking chair or a certain candy bar! Seniors need to order from the kids menu and nothing for first responders!“
