“We love the chicken salad sandwich and it’s great price! The bun they put it on is so yummy! We’ve also tried breakfast and the breakfast burrito and gravy are so good! And let’s not forget the cherry fried pie. It is amazing! Definitely will keep going by and trying out new things for sure!“

“Nothing better than a mom and pop breakfast joint. Good service and good food at a fair price. We always look for small family owned restaurants when we travel because we seem to get better quality food and service in trade for atmosphere and frills. Country kitchen didn't disappoint. Not fancy but the wait staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely recommend.“

“The atmosphere of this place is awesome, exactly what you would want from a 50’s diner. The chicken fingers were so fresh and juicy; very good- but my fries were almost cold and not quite cooked… cooked enough but could have been better. The fried biscuit ‘Bread Puffs’ were pretty darn good. I ordered the Cherry Limeade but could hardly taste either flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, the only downside was hearing them chatting and flirting with the cooks through the window. My husband got the Reuben sandwich- that doesn’t come with a side… kind of overpriced for portion size. But we will go back to try other items.“

“My Husband and I have been there twice, both times I ordered the PB and Jay- very excited to finally find a PB burger. It tastes very good, neither time was it cooked how I requested and the second time it came with the wrong cheese. The servers are awesome I think they need new cooks and it will be much better. The first time we went they forgot to cook my Husband’s pizza. I wish they had normal fries, the menu says fries and other places it says ‘sidewinders’ which is deceiving. The second visit there was a lady standing behind the counter with her hair down just talking to the cook the entire time we were there- wasn’t a good look at all.“

“Really good and there is no better view of the lake. You are going to spend &20 to $30 dollars per person on a meal. (That does not include drinks of course). We will go back but it is not for the bargain hunter.“
