“Catfish Haven is always very clean. I love the fact that you can see into their kitchen. They are always friendly and have wonderful service. There is a young red headed waitress, Tarin, who is delightful....love her. She knows how to make my aging parents feel comfortable.Dietary restrictions: I also watch my carb intake, and they offer options to help with my diet.Wheelchair accessibility: There has never been an issue, they always accommodate.“
“This restaurant has recently reopened after a fire. My friends wanted to go there. I was ambivalent because I recall their food was just ordinary before the fire. The server recommended the special. We all got the special. And it was good. Better than what I recall.“
“This is a quaint, quirky country store place that serves tasty, fresh food. If you pass through Collinsville, Texas, make a point to stop. Great service, lots of locals and local charm and great food. You'll love it. Sorry, I didn't take any photos of the food. We were all hungry and it all looks so good. We gobbled it down quickly.“
“We landed on this patio for Happy Hour. The view was amazing. The special was rose and we tasted each one. They ranged from light to very full bodied in taste. All expertly blended. I transitioned to the Temporinllo, a very full bodied and tasty red. But the absolute show stealer was the red sangria. Served over a full glass of ice it was refreshing with a sweet start and a very tart finish. That drink alone would bring me back. Julia was an excellent server and Willem, the owner, was on site and eager to answer any questions. Texas high country wines are unique and so very tasty. I highly recommend the venue.“
“I had a hunch this place was the real deal the moment I stepped out of my truck. The aroma of freshly smoked meat mixed with sweet and tangy BBQ flavor inundated the gravel parking lot. A scent so overwhelmingly captivating, I couldn’t help but follow it to its source. I walked through the front doors of 902 and was immediately greeted by a charismatic waiter who promptly served us drinks. The menu was concise, yet powerful. Along with the atmosphere, all menu items complemented a cold beer and a sports game. I went with the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, served on 100% USDA Texas Toast. Mouthwatering is an understate, to say the least. After I consumed my fair share in cheesy caloric delight, the owner came out and greeted us with a warm smile, and freshly smoked chicken. My favorite part about this establishment is its commitment to keeping things simple, yet refining its craft through friendly employees, quality ingredients, and a home town feel. I look forward to my next visit.“
