I'm a truck driver from Wisconsin. My gf and I were at a rest area nearby for our 34 hour reset so decided to order food and cowboy chicken came up on grub hub. We never heard of it but decided to give it a try and let me tell you it was absolutely worth it! We spent $90 between the two of us and got a bunch of different things to try. The chicken was incredible and just fell off the bone definitely the best chicken I've ever had in my life. The brisket was pretty decent. The sides are also really good. The fried okra was awesome and the Mexican corn was a perfect side with the brisket. To finish it off I had the banana pudding and again absolutely amazing! I really hope I come through this area again someday so I can order it again!
Everything was great! I especially liked the twice baked potatoes. Top notch.

The whole place was dirty from the walls to the dispenser that you get your plastic ware from. The green beans were flavorless and half raw. My son's barbecue sandwhich was partially cold. I was not impressed at all. I've visited the one in Allen years ago and it was much better quality. Such a shame.

This is one of last fast food restaurants that you get your money worth. The chicken was so good. You can taste the fire roasrt flavor. The beans were fresh. The rolls seemed like they were made in the restaurant.

What a neet way to eat chicken. A huge sandwich for a decent price, a bit high but went along with the size of the sandwich. In other words no deal, you get what you pay for. As for the taste, it sure was tasty but as expected the breast was a little dry.
My first time there and it taste great just like it smells, okra fried fresh and beans has great flavor and not bland. Staff very friendly eating area and bathrooms very clean. Ill be returning

Cowboy chicken is so good. The service is good. The people are good and it’s so fast to get to go. Their food is consistently good. I appreciate them as a healthy option for fast food! 🫶

Kinda like a Boston Market. $10 meal is a good deal that includes 2 pcs dark meat, 2 sides, 1 dinner roll, and 1 fountain drink. Acceptable quality, green beans are best. Place looks a bit sad though.
