I use to like your food. I got your 1981 $3.89 special and it was terrible. The chicken tasted old, the Cole slaw was terrible worst I’ve ever had. The beans serving was very small. There is no way that is what you served in 1981 or you would have gone out of business. The chocolate chip cookie crumbled and fell apart when I picked it up. I will never eat there again

I've been here maybe 5 or 6 times and it's always been nice friendly service except for today. I came in around 6 this evening and was in line and some girl that was cleaning tables decided to stop and assist me. I didn't like her attitude at all and won't be coming back. Their food isn't good enough to put up with attitudes like that. If you can't at least fake being courteous, I don't even wanna do business with you. The guy at the counter seemed nice though. Too bad I couldn't make it to him first. He was busy helping someone in front of me.

Ordered for curbside for 4:15. Got here on time, checked in and waited. 10 minutes go by store is slow. Go inside my order is sitting in the counter getting cold. I even say it was suppose to be curbside, no reaction from her or the staff sitting right there with the cookies. Not the best experience with this Cowboy Chicken. Rather just wait until I'm in frisco or somewhere else.

Spaceous area as you enter the building. You can definitely smell the woodfire chicken cooking. Got my apatite going even more. I ended up going some mix of dark/white meat with a sweet potato and it was pretty good all around. Great spot.
This is my second time experiencing cowboy chicken. Unfortunately this time we waited 40 minutes for our food which was very frustrating. Lucky the food was great once we finally received our food.

We've been coming here for years and Ellie has always made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food is amazing and a pretty healthy alternative compared to anything else in the area. We know when we walk in and shes there, it's gonna be a good time.

I got uber eats and it was so terrible that I am making an account to review it; I’m not even the one who bought it. $73 for 2 things of food, nothing big, each being $16 each. It said it was “free delivery,” but actually it was $19. Are we serious, $19??? Also we paid for a chocolate chip cookie, but I guess the people were too lazy to give it to us. Absolutely terrible, the chicken tenders are the size of actual fries. This place should be considered a scam, you’d have a better time tasting your own salvia than this garbage. Ruined any chances for me to ever want to even go near here, as before, I’ve always been interested. I pray to god a store owner is seeing this, and if you are, quit right now please for everyone’s sake.
