La Ranchera in Sherman, TX, offers good Mexican food but has been inconsistent lately. I recently ordered takeout, and while the service was understandably slow due to the high number of customers, the quality of the fajita mixta was disappointing. I usually order delivery from this place but decided to go ahead and walk in to order to go. They are a small business with a few tables. I walked in and there were a couple people already seated, by the time I left with my food(10 min), the place was PACKED. I am obsessed with their gorditas and shrimp tostadas. The quality of food is top notch and reminds me of an elevated home cooked meal. 12/10 would recommend

Homemade corn tortillas were nice and the beans and rice fabulous, I visited the restaurant and it was quite charming, perfect atmosphere for the food that you get and the huevos rancheros were delicious
