We drive 45 minutes to eat breakfast or brunch there. It’s the best place I know of for breakfast. The Bliss berry crepes are delicious. The amount of fresh blueberries, raspberries and blackberries with crème is very generous. All the portions are large and delicious. The staff is prompt and friendly. We eat there when we visit Hagerman Wildlife Refuge. If they were open after 3 pm we would eat there again on the way back.

We ordered an omelette and a scramble. The omelette was watery. The cooks had no idea what they were doing with this thing. They definitely just dumped a bunch of ingredients without straining the water out to the eggs. The scramble had very little flavor and both biscuits did not have any salt. Total was over $40 for a very poor meal. Would not come back and would not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money.

I generally expect a restaurant’s prices to align with the quality of the food they serve, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I ordered a ham, mushroom, and cheese omelet, with a side of grits and a biscuit to-go. When I got back to my shop and opened the meal, I was stunned.

The cheese in the omelet wasn’t what I’d consider quality—it looked like two unmelted slices of processed yellow cheese, the type you’d find near Velveeta in the grocery aisle. The mushrooms were canned, which was disappointing since I expected fresh ingredients given the pricing. Honestly, using canned mushrooms feels more appropriate for a cheap pizza than a sit-down breakfast spot.

The grits were another letdown. I love grits and hoped for something homemade, but these tasted like instant ones straight from a box—bland and uninspiring. To top it off, the omelet itself was overcooked and extremely dry. I didn’t even get to try the biscuit at that point.

When I called to give the restaurant a chance to fix it, they mentioned I had the option to choose different cheeses, which I wasn’t told when I ordered. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and requested a Swiss cheese omelet. Unfortunately, the second attempt was worse—the omelet was half the size of the first, overcooked to the point of being nearly burnt, and the cheese inside still resembled processed slices rather than anything resembling Swiss.

At the end of the day, I spent $13 on a meal that ended up in the trash. Sadly, this place didn’t meet my expectations, and I won’t be returning. For my next breakfast, I think McDonald's might be a safer bet—it’s more reliable and far more satisfying for the price.

We ended up paying $50 for a simple breakfast for 2 also they charged us over $3 for a glass of tea
Every other word the waitress said was yall. she said yall every time shespoke to us 2 or 3 times and we felt uncomfortable. We had an omelette and crepes coffe and tea
We are a mixed family BLACK AND WHITE. so MAYBEshe was saying that excessively to make us uncomfortable . There were hardly any people in there and now i understand why
WHEN WE WENT TO CHECK OUT THE MANAGER CHECKING US OUT DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE CHARGES ON TH E CHECK AND HAD TO CALL THE WAITRESS OVER TO EXPLAIN TO WHICH HE SAID OH OK. BUT over $50 for a breakkfast for two and the atmosphere created was unvomfortable we had them bring us to go cartons after a few minutes my husband is a disabled veteran and we are both in our 70's. We were just uncomfortable and the price was ridiculous " in our opinion" for a simple breakfast and $ $ 7.00 for 1 coffee and 1 tea regular sized glass and cup. We wont go again.
