The hostess of all people complained because dad left an average amount for a tip because the waitress was slamming the coffee cups down on the table actually startled my mom and I and seemed as though she was pissed off for some reason and we have been in there many different times and she never seemed that way.... and as my dad was walking out the hostess was actually complaining about the tip he had left! THE HOSTESS!!! For one why would the hostess be the one complaining about the tip and two next time don't have such an attitude that causes people to jump when you set a coffee cup down!

9/8/25 Came in to eat breakfast. I’ve eaten here before for years. Sign up front say wait to be seated. Stood there for 10 minutes no one showed up, found a table myself. Ate breakfast, waitress was friendly and doing a good job. When I went to pay, no one at the register. After five minutes I went to go find someone. Finally paying. I told the woman that I didn’t like wasting time trying to be seated and then more time paying. Told her I would not be back. She said I needed to find some place more accommodating. I told her that trying to be seated and trying to pay was not me trying to be accommodated. I told her if she would do her job properly and seat people and take payments in a timely manner. I would not have wasted 15 minutes. There are much better places to eat breakfast in this town. Future customers need to pass on Sweetberries Cafe.

Biscuits were huge, dense and tasteless. Staff preferred to work with regulars and serve them fiat even though they came in 15 minutes after we were seated. We were only checked on once while the regulars were checked on multiple times. Will NOT be going back.

This quaint cafe is very cozy, The atmosphere is very peaceful, and the staff was attentive but not a nuisance. Trust me you are not going to leave hungry. The portions are huge.

Passing through Sherman, I randomly went to Sweetberries. It exceeded any expectations I had. The salmon was cooked perfectly, broccoli was flavorful and my side salad was fresh and crispy. Service was excellent. I'll be altering my travels to include Sweetberries!

Love the food and the hometown, home cooked atmosphere. Portions are very large, so my scrawny self generally takes some home. Friendly staff. No long waits for food. I've been there three times already plan on going back.

The crepes were delicious, everything else was terribly bland! Not impressed sadly! The service started with a smile but then we were abandoned. Had to go ask hostess for water and straws. Food was delivered then abandoned again. Left thirsty and ketchup messed kiddo lol. Would advise only the crepes.

Just an average experience sadly. Long long wait times for food, it didnt seem overly busy either. My order was wrong, but I didn't send it back due to the long long wait times for the food, I know the waitress wrote it down correctly so not sure what went wrong. Waited a long time for the drink refills as well.
