I'm not sure how they took steps to address my concerns that quickly, especially when there were only two employees working when we were there. Looks like a canned response to me.My wife and I had dinner here tonight. Didn't realize it was a fast food place. Kinda like a Long John Silvers. But a lot more expensive. $35 for two people??? And no where near as good. Wife said the cole slaw had a funny sour taste. My red beans and rice had NO taste. And the catfish is WAY undercooked. It might not be bad after we take it home and finish cooking it in the air fryer. We certainly won't be back here.

Shrimp was waaay over cooked and hard as a rock. Sure hope it’s not too late for them to recover from this. I was the only one there at 7pm on a Friday night.

This is my new 5 star restaurant !! Courtney was beyond helpful! I'll be coming back many times in the future!! Loved the boudin balls, my grilled shrimp were large and amazing, food is great and service as I said from Courtney was impeccable!!!! Sherman is lucky to have a place like this!!!

We had a great family lunch here. Everything was tasty, hot, and big portions. Kids had popcorn shrimp and Mac and cheese, and I had chicken, shrimp, and catfish basket. They were feeling adventurous so we also shared some delicious gator bites. Y’all know how hard it can be to get kids to eat, but they cleaned their plates! The restaurant was clean,and the staff was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu.

Best catfish!! Large fillets- did I mention how freakin crispy they were?!?! So crispy!! Delightful! Manager was so personable- very friendly and helpful. This place gives out FREE HURRICANES!!!!!!!! Love it! Family friendly atmosphere. CRISPY!!!!!

Man, I was excited to get a real seafood place in Sherman besides Red Lobster. I could almost taste the crawfish. But after three visits? I'm just not impressed. The motif is eclectic at best, with no rhyme nor reason to the random word signs declaring simply "Spicy" etc. But the real issue is the food quality and temperatures. It all just tastes frozen and bland. Their breading for fish is great. But if you go on a busy night? You can forget fresh. It's like they have a bunch of seafood all fried up and they just plate it up as orders come in. It is not hot and lacks flavor. The crawfish spice is great. If only the crawfish were of a reasonable size for February. They were tiny. Many were obviously old as they just fell apart in my hands pre-pinch. Like I said. I gave it three shots. Each was sub-par at best.this last visit was the worst yet and it cost nearly $40 for me to dine alone on my way to the lake. Luckily, another seafood place just opened at the old Applebee's location on the parkway, and it is every bit as good as their sister store in McKinney. I'm really disappointed, as are many of the customers I've spoken to about The Catch. I honestly would have preferred the old Catfish King. At least their food was hot and fresh. Not sure what they are doing in the kitchen, but a reboot is sorely needed. Service was actually fast and friendly and people came around to quality check. Maybe they will sort the kitchen issues. But people aren't standing in line any longer. My guess is three years tops.at least there are new and better options finally to Red Lobster. This one is not mine.
