Food is delicious, it was very enjoyable but we don't think it is worth the almost 2 hour wait that we experience. But pls don't let this review discourage you, there might be just some circumstances at play when we dinned that we haven't known hence the 2 hour wait for food. If you want to experience it, make sure you Got your reservation on an early hour. I suggest the earliest you can get when they just open.

The food here was absolutely amazing. Our server Jason was so very attentive that he listened to my wife and I's conversation and made food suggestions corresponding with our private talk. The crab stuffed blackened redfish was mouth watering. After delivering the platter, Jason delivered extra cream sauce because he would want it with his own dinner! Very good service. Then Jason told us about a chocolate chipped cookie skillet that wasn't on the menu...and it did not disappoint. My wife has an affection for espresso martinis, and jasons was definitely top 5 on her list. This place will definitely be on our list of restaurants to return to again and again.

Shrimp and grits, 24.50....if youaged enjoy frozen reconstituted shrimp with grits made yesterday. You should enjoy!
I did 2 stars just to see if they even read their poor reviews. Good luck!
I would be glad to make you some kraft Mac and cheese, with packaged hot dogs, on me!!... usually 37.50 plus 20 percent " kitchen/service charge" let me know

Have always loved this place but it's gone so ... downhill. "What kind of tonic do you use?" Reply ... "it's just out of the hose and not very good. Probably Schwepps." Not a great start. My guests looked me with wide opened eyes ... with clear concern.
We were there on a quiet evening. Had expected a crowd, but we and two couples were the only diners. In hindsight, I should've known something was off. The Library used to be packed, and that's why we made reservations which were clearly not needed.
One of my two guests ordered the tuna. She got an initially (before cooking) beautiful piece of tuna that was grey on the outside when served. No grilled marks and no kind of sear. Expected it to be seared/grilled in the exterior and rare on the inside. Pro-tip: grey food isn't palatable. We all ate half of our meals (party of 3, $200+ bill) and no "How was your food?"
I was embarrassed to have brought guests here. Sigh. We used to be regulars here but after that experience, not sure we'll return. And that saddens us. After decades of dining here.
The three stars five credit for countless wonderful experiences over the past term years. This experience was a one star experience except the the pork entrée (ribeye? Can't recall) that one of my guests ordered was apparently delicious!
Not sure what happened to the Library. Perhaps new management? New staff (servers and cooks) who haven't yet finished training? Trying to allow some grace here because this place has been out favorite for so many years.

Wagyu Rib Eye was a huge disappointment, was able to eat 1/4 of it, the rest was full of grizzle. Husband New York Strip was ok. As the 2 most expensive items on the menu they should have been exceptional. The appetizer, salad and sides were good but nothing rises to the price of the meal for such poor quality beef.

The food was only okay. Nothing special at all. Lacked flavor. Seemed like quality ingredients but prepared without seasoning.

Delicious food and cocktails. Servers were pleasant and attentive. My group ordered a variety of food and drinks and all were great. It is expensive for Grayson County but worth it for a high end meal without going to Dallas.
Attire is smart casual. I wore slacks and a nice blouse. My husband wore slacks and a short sleeve button down shirt. We fit in nicely.

Went here for a work meeting. Great selection of food, good flavors, and atmosphere. It's a little pricy, but i will take my family.

We ate here for dinner (over Texas Roadhouse ) expecting to be wowed based on the reviews but we were less than wowed. The restaurant is fabricated out of a an old house and it smells like it. The mildew smell assaults you when you first walk in.
The steak was great. We had the 6 oz beef steak. And opted for asparagus and roasted broccoli as side dishes. The asparagus was cold but tasted good. The broccoli was warm but overcooked and didn't have a great flavor at all. It was very soggy. The dinner salad (a basic spring mix salad) was really good. Their choice of dressings were good (the blue cheese dressing was excellent) and the dinner roll that came with the salad was amazing. We dined in, The service was friendly but not great. I actually expected a little more from a high-end restaurant. For our two meals we paid $106 we didn't get drinks other than water.... The price for the meal would not have been bad had the vegetables been more palatable and the service been a little more friendly. The waitress was friendly but the server was impatient (our plates and glasses were basically slammed in front of us, almost as if the server was mad). We opted out of dessert.
I love it when I find a place that's super good and I can tell everybody "Go there, you won't regret it".
Unfortunately I can't say that based on our experience here, I don't believe we'll be returning.
