Amazing location, love the atmosphere. Had chicken fried steak and it was great. Potatoes were creamy gravy with spot on service was excellent. Must stop and eat if you’re in town or coming out of the brewery tour.

We had a party of six and they were quick to get us seated. Our server was so nice and sweet even after a spilled beer incident..lolAnyway, our appetizers of quesadillas and southwestern eggs rolls were spot on.The chicken fried chicken was delicious and had huge portions.Prices are reasonable and certainly in line with other fine restaurants.

We always enjoy our time at the Shiner Palace Saloon! Great staff, good live music and food is good - the burger is great and other offerings good too! Whether you are local or passing through you'll have a good time here.
The atmosphere and the server were excellent but the food was really expensive. The chicken fried steak was about the size if a hamburger patty. The mashed potatoes and fried okra were cold and very bland. So all in all I would just go to hear the live music and have some drinks. The music was great, and the whole place was beautiful.
Nice place with good drinks , usually have live music which we like! The interior decorating of animals & old stuff & so much more to look at.makes it interesting as well.

Great cocktails and cheap cold, local draft beer. The fried fish, hushpuppies, and French fries tray were fresh, hot, and crispy. I will be back for their great live music offerings.
Very good food. The cherry bar is awesome! This is a must see place.

Not kid friendly. Slow service. Don't bring your kids as there's no accommodations for them. Only one restroom so don't drink too much. If you're looking for a good time in shiner, there are better options. Also the food is dry and comes out cold.

First off, the building is really cool and clean. The decor is unique. However, the overall experience will keep us away. We ordered a chicken fried steak which was equivalent to chewing on a piece of rubber. It seems like a frozen piece of chicken was battered and flash fried. I didn't swallow a single piece out of fear of getting sick. Now the service. I understand it was a busy Saturday night, but waiting 30+ minutes to get canned beers is a little outrageous. Twice I actually had to go looking for our waitress so we could finally get some service.
