“Stopped in for lunch and had the most amazing experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were friendly and had a great attitude.I ran into the owner, he was kind and very helpful. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the desserts are yummy. The food bar was stocked with fresh homemade food. ?A must go to if you're in the Shiner area.”
“Happened to finish a job early and looked for something hot that was close. Saw all the reviews and let me tell you, they ain’t lying ?!The absolute best burger I’ve had in a good long while! Onion rings were delicious and the portions were amazing. You won’t be disappointed!”
“My coworker and I met at this coffee shop for an on-the-road work session. The owner went out of her way to make us feel at home providing us with high speed Wi-Fi and a big table in a side room for us to use.The shop was a real nice place with plenty of room for enjoying coffee and visiting. Lots of drinks, food and other stuff. Smoothies and espresso were tasty and hit the spot! The locals who came through were super friendly. Overall this was a really great place. We'll be back! Thanks!”
“Great brewery experience located in the small country town of Shiner, Texas. Usa today has it as part of the 10 best brewery tours in Texas. #5! When you get here the main parking lot is kind of small, but there's additional parking in the lot behind that one, connected by a small trellis bridge to walk walk to the main area. The brewery is made up of the tap room, the takeout restaurant filled with barbecue goods, the shop, and the beer garden which is partially covered, and complete with band, and full bar. It's important to note that they actually don't sell beer to drink. What you can do is buy various things that come with tokens that are good for a cup of beer. We purchased the $25 gift bag that had sunglasses cups and other things in it along with three tokens for three beers. If you're here during spring break, go to the gift shop and let them see that you've liked one of their posts on Facebook and they'll give you a free 12-pack of shiner Hill country peach wheat seasonal beer there's people everywhere walking with their arms full of this beer LOL. The food is pretty good the beer is great the experience is just what you'd like it to be: country music playing with the smell of barbecue and beer everywhere! Alright alright alright.”
“This was just what you would expect from a small town local bar! We didn't eat, but spent 45 minutes drinking beer with a local named "Jim". What a treat this was!”
“There were 10 of us that dined at Mary's last evening. All of our food was served hot and at the same time. The food was delicious and customer service excellent ( very nice and friendly). The restaurant was very clean.”
“Seth was very well mannered served us with a smile food was made neatly and we'll presented astablishment was clean restroom was clean great experience would definitely recommendParking: About 10 up frontKid-friendliness: Pleasant environment”
“Don't expect a posh city scene. But it's a cozy little local bar. Friendly staff can point you in the right direction of a good steak or a fun small town event. Cash only! Have a chat with my friend Chuck, he's a nice fella.”
“First time here and we came for breakfast. I had the Migas La Mexicana while the Mrs. Had the bacon and egg plate. Both were very good and large portions.Atmosphere is nice and clean and the waitress, while busy busy, kept up with asking how we’re doing. Will come back to try lunch and dinner plates.”
“We had a party of six and they were quick to get us seated. Our server was so nice and sweet even after a spilled beer incident..lolAnyway, our appetizers of quesadillas and southwestern eggs rolls were spot on.The chicken fried chicken was delicious and had huge portions.Prices are reasonable and certainly in line with other fine restaurants.”
“This place was recommended by our cousins. They use this restaurant to cater events. The food was very good. We enjoyed the buffet which had pork loin, chicken fried steak and enchilada casserole for lunch. The vegetable selections were good as was the salad bar. The waitstaff were friendly and service was quick.”
“We came into town to go to the Shiner Bach factory, and I had the need for fried chicken. The people who work here are amazing. So nice and helpful. A big part of the community. You can see it by the way they treat each customer.I ordered the fried chicken with fries, and my spouse got the gizzard with mac and cheese. The gizzard and mac and cheese were fantastic. The chicken was juicy and fried to perfection. For me, it did have a weird taste at the end. I'm not sure what it was, just something I wasn't a fan of.I would come back just for the entertainment of the employees. I would also like to try the burger.”
“I'm so impressed and amazed by this family ran business. The food is absolutely delicious and the low key atmosphere is fantastic. Going there every week and never disappoints.”
“I very much enjoy everything there! Great prices and great customer service. I enjoy their "tostitos preparados, mangonadas, and aguas frsecas." Very fresh!!”
“I have been here several times.. my favorite is the Monroe.Randy is a very kind person. He allowed me to have my baby's birthday party there. It was perfect for our small gathering. We had the sno cones for the kids in the cute cups and had a couple ice cold beers. Service was outstanding.”
“What super nostalgic and gastronomic experience! We love Dairy Treet! What a great staff and great grub. Fantastic menu choices and all please the tummy. So happy we rediscovered this place. Very well kept and clean bathrooms.”
“First time trying and it was a very delicious burger. I added grilled jalapeños to mine while wife got the stock cheeseburger minus mustard and pickles.Granddaughter had the kid burger and tore it up quickly. Testament to how good it must have been.”
“Driving by and saw bakery, that caught my eye! The food bar looked great, but we weren’t ready for lunch so we bought some donuts. We are going to back through town in about three weeks and will definitely get some lunch! As for the donuts, they were really good.”
“This chicken is to die for!! Super juicy and moist!! Definitely the best there is!! The staff is friendly and the food is hot and fresh. Stop by if you're ever in Yokum!!!!”
“Great place. Server was a very nice young lady. The pizzas were super yummy. Got 1 large cheese 1 large HB, mushroom, black olives. The dough was perfect. Had plenty of leftovers and it tasted just a good cold too.”
“Should change their name to Jenny's Super Tacos. Very Delicious Tortillas. I have big hands and would have ordered less if I knew the sizes but absolutely no regrets”
“Service was fast and efficient even with our server having several tables. We sat at the bar in back, it was nice there, clean and less noisy than the main dining area. We didn't wait long at all for our delicious meal, or to get seated either. We will for sure go back.”
“Before this I haven't been to a subway since I lived in OKC. And that was a horrible experience. This place is neat and clean. Cashier was nice and pleasant. My daughter and i loved the sandwiches.”
“I've never had food there I didn't like. A plus is that they have good non-Mexican choices like their chicken fried steak and regular steaks. I highly recommend their grilled vegetables side. They also offer breakfast all day. Service is usually very good with waitstaff checking so often that I usually just have to tell them to check back in 5 minutes or so. The TVs are so low that you never hear them to interrupt table conversation. When it's really busy, it can get loud, especially in the very front room due to all the hard surfaces. There's no mistaking that this is a Mexican restaurant. They do have a drive-thru window which is great to pick up to take home or get a breakfast burrito in the morning. They have also restarted their Sunday lunch buffet which includes both light & dark turkey, dressing, gravy, and cranberry sauce every week.”
“Just found out that they no longer offer a Senior Discount. Sad for our elderly community which was a large portion of their business. Will not support them any longer. Too bad that greed overtakes serving a community.”
“If they had more staff it would be better for the workers. Just came for a shake and the wait was long. Not complaining because I understand how the workforce is at this moment. I applaud them for wanting to work!”
“On our way to the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, TX, we happened upon Mary's Taco - and what a wonderful find. We enjoyed our breakfast including a great migas plate and a taco filled with bacon and eggs. The homemade tortillas were especially delicious. We can't wait to go back and try some other of their specialties.”
