Passing by after playing Disc Golf in Smithville,TX and we had to stop and enjoy. Great hospitality. I wish we could have gotten a tour. We live 5 hours away. I will return. My husband did a Fantastic job as a caddy. I treated him to Shiner
The tall, bearded 'mixologist' is both knowledgeable & friendly, he must be a true Texan.
This is our second time having bbq while visiting the brewery. We absolutely love the giblet rice and green beans! Good meats - I really enjoyed the sausage both regular and spicy. Also there are plenty of other options in their cold case like fresh veggies, chicken salad and desserts.

K. Spoetzl BBQ Co. offers awesome food like the football potato and damn good brisket. The brisket is OMG good, tender and juicy with a little tug left in it. The sausage is great and perfectly cooked. With outdoor seating options under the sky or a covered pavilion under umbrellas, it's a nice spot to enjoy delicious BBQ. The BBQ baked potato is a popular choice, and the potato salad and peach cobbler are so good. This great little BBQ shop is easily one of the best barbecue restaurants in Texas, with delicious, well priced & solid portions. The extremely friendly staff makes it a must while you're there. Just note that due to TABC laws, you need to purchase an item from the gift shop to exchange for beer tokens to get free beer from next door.
