Taqueria Vallarta Skidmore is a hidden gem in a small town with a few dining options. Despite its old exterior, the restaurant offers excellent food and service. For breakfast, try the steak and eggs, which is considered the best breakfast on a recent trip. The tripas plate and variety of Mexican dishes are also highly recommended. The prices are unbeatable, and the portion sizes are generous. Sunday specials, such as the Turkey & Dressing, are also a hit. While the seasoning could be improved, the overall quality is delicious.
