I love the history of this business. It is intriguing that it's over 100 years old. I believe it is the same building since the beginning. There on the corner of the square, tempting people as they pass. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are a little too high for us, but we did get a cookie and a couple of tiny pies. They were yummy. It was worth stopping by, but since we live so far away, we will keep the memory close.

Stopped at this famous bakery while on a road trip. Mouthwatering cookies and sweets. Be sure to grab a bag or two of their homemade vanilla wafers!

I’m thoroughly disappointed and disgusted by the smaller repackaging of the vanilla wafers as well as the ginger snap cookies. I used to pay $4.98 for 16 ounces which I thought was a little high priced but my family loved them. I also wanted to support local businesses.

But yesterday I bought some in a tiny package of only 11 ounces for the same price of $4.98!!!

I will either find an alternative or try to make them myself! I am outraged at this! I used to buy 3 or 4 at a time, but I will not buy them anymore!

You have lost a good and loyal customer! Your loss!!

Disappointed in the breakfast food no flavor and the breakfast burrito was more potatoes than sausage couldn't even taste the sausage and no seasoning

Wonderful little small town bakery widely known in Texas. Great made-to-order sandwiches and freshly baked pastries and cookies, and donuts. Known for their delicious cakes.

Gonna have to restrain myself lol The absolute best snickerdoodle cookies I've ever had! The service is down-home sweet! They have a large selection of baked goods and sweets. You gotta stop in and visit this bakery!

Got here later in the day and there was still a wide selection. When you get here, walk to the restaurant in the left side and walk back to the rooms to see part of the history of the bakery. It's a neat little place to visit. They do sell their products at HEB and other places.

This is the cutest bakery I ever seen!!! And the ladies there were super friendly and welcoming. It's really clean too and they also sell sandwiches. I tried their tuna sandwich and I liked it. I can't wait to go back!
