LOVE this restaurant! The owners, Gina and Ryan are fantastic people and super welcoming. We eat here at least once a month and take all out of town guests here. The food is amazing.

Ordered the breaded catfish, didn't care fir the cornmeal breaded material and the fish looked more Ilke chicken fingers than catfish. The ad was just lettuce and I usually have water with my meals. Their water tasted like very old swamp water.

Even a sign.NOT FAST FOOD. lolThey ran out of rice for my gumbo, I learned this after waiting for it a while, brought it to the table, and then said, "we're out of rice."but they did offer me another food item, I accepted a burger. I don't like lettuce in my burger and wanted cheese, but I wasn't asked how I wanted it. But I ate it and took the gumbo soup home.The tea is unsweet and cold. so you can't mix sugar in it.I mean, some may like this place.? try it at least once.

We actually had some treats from Hope Floats which is in the same restaurant. We had some delicious Gelato and coffee. We did take a look at the menu for Your Mom's and it looked awesome. Be sure to have plenty of time because the cook fresh, made when ordered!!!

1. The food is tremendous.2. The first sign you see at the door makes it clear their food isn't fast-they mean it.3. Slow your roll. Your food, worth the wait, is going to take a while.4. Don't show up starving. Being hangry wont help.5. Go with people you enjoy because you'll have plenty of time to catch up.6. Take advantage of their BYOB policy and bring a bottle from the nearby liquor store.7. Settle in and go with the flow.

If you have all day come here to eat that’s how long it takes to get food. Small restaurant took from 3:24 time of order until 4:19 to get a burger and bowl of gumbo. Ridiculous.
The food was delicious (chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, brussel sprouts,mash potatoes, and salad. The staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere!
