This was a really experience! It was tucked away off the main road about a mile or so but well worth it! There were five of us who dined. We ordered the fried catfish and shrimp, fried chicken, and one guest had the pancakes. The sides were equally amazing, including the corn on the cob, black-eyed peas, and cornbread seemed to melted in my mouth! Our lovely hosts Carrissa, and Cedric were warm and inviting too. It was agreat dining experience. Definitely 5 stars for me.
I knew this place would have good food when I went, but I in no way expected it to be a 12/10. To say the food is amazing is a severe understatement. Better than what mom made. Karissa is a phenomenal cook and she had it right when she said she was going to open a restaurant.
Our 1st time checking this restaurant out, I was dying for some collard greens and pot likker. Cedric and Carissa made us feel like home and all the food we got was generous and tasty. We'll definitely be going back!
