“We stopped in for a bite to eat and we are so glad we did. Carissa and Cedric were courteous and sincere. We had the smothered ribs with cabbage and beans, and the Salisbury steak with greens and beans. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t excellent! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Carissa and Cedric. They clearly take a lot of pride in their food!”

“Chicken-fried steaks here are the absolute REAL DEAL and excellent value for money at $12.95 for a "small" and only $5.00 more for the "large" which gets you a 2nd steak with country gravy on a separate plate. The chicken-fried bacon is not to be missed if you stop in, it was an amazing appetizer.We were warmly greeted, service was prompt and everything was delicious! Our bacon arrived less than 5 minutes after placing our order, and our meals followed about 5 minutes later. A remarkable feat given the dining room was more than 3/4 full when we sat down and a single waitress was taking and delivering orders for the entire restaurant.We will defintely be returning!”

“We placed a to-go order for our family of six (5 people eating) and of course this is a splurge for us these days but this food was worth it! Excellent fajitas (chicken and beef), lip-smacking ceviche, and fantastic "green plate" (grilled zucchini and avocado with delicious lime chicken)! We overlooked the red salsa and realized we didn't eat it with our meal afterward, but the leftover salsa and chips made yummy chilaquiles the next morning. ? We plan to frequent Sargento's now and love that they are conveniently located just a few minutes from us.”

“We eat out a lot (which may not be budget friendly or healthy, but we love to try different foods and restaurants!) College Station in general is not known for good food. Normally, the food there is subpar. Sushimasa has blown up this realty. It is one of my top restaurants to go to. Food is fresh. The seafood soup has actual medium-sized scallops!! The unique salmon skin salad is delicious (if u r into cucumbers)! For those that don’t eat raw fish, they also have teriyaki beef and chicken. These are very small portions, so order a few orders together initially to start. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a nice booth. Atmosphere is very tranquil and pretty. For a reasonable price ($33/person), we ordered all-u-can-eat. It comes with an alcoholic drink or refillable soda, 2 pages of items to order from, and delicious desserts. For dessert, we ordered the the fried cheese cake, green matcha / strawberry ice creams, and fried bananas. Highly recommended.”

“Crumbl has a nice texture to their cookie, they are soft and their icing is to die for in my opinion. They also have a variety of flavors plus big cookie so you can share with friends or family. So in my opinion Crumbl is so good ?.”

“I have had sushi in 12 different states, and this is the best sushi of my life. The menu is exceptionally unique, but every item is carefully crafted to be visually stunning and serve a delicious fantasy.The Bluefin Toro roll is the must scrumptious thing I have ever eaten. The bluefin tuna belly is decident, the asain pear in the roll is refreshing, and I get an endorphine high by the time I am done eating it.I normally can't handle spicy food, but the Blazing Mango roll delivers the flavor the wasabi, jalepenos, and chili tobiko (things I can never eat) without the punch of the heat.While I may be a desert snob (I reject most deserts in College Station), Kanji's black sesame ice cream is a must-have. I have never experienced an ice cream flavor quite like it, but it has become my favorite ice cream flavor.Of course the atmosphere is incredble, and the service has always been consistantly amazing. You can even do sushi making classes! In my opinion, Kanji Sushi is the best resturant in Bryan/College Station in terms of flavor, experience, service, and consistancy.”

“Stopped by here for supper on our way to Cypress. The food & service were excellent. My husband got the large chicken fried steak, it was huge, basically 2 chicken fried steaks, he couldn't eat it all. I had the stuffed crab. Both of our meals were really good. If your a vegetarian they have several options listed on the menu. There is something for everyone. We will definitely be back next time we come this way.”

“Chips and queso are absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan of the chicken and waffle taco. Also the mexi cali shrimp taco is delicious! My husband loves the Cuban pig taco. “When you are a latina and an island girl with a strong attachment to good coffee is very hard to find the type of espresso that you like. This coffee shop in College Station is amaaaazing. The cortado was done the way I like it. It has the right amount of milk, the right flavor and the strong kick to it that I love. I highly recommend this place. They are very nice too ?. Stop by and grab a drink. They have all types of coffees.”

“It's a small hole-in-the-wall, so we expected the food to be authentic, and it was. The pupusas were good but not impressive, however the spicy cabbage salad and salsas it came with were great. I got a chicken dish that tasted like a chicken curry from home. I absolutely loved it. Recommend.”

“On March 30th I found la Gabriella online when I was searching for bakeries in Bryan/CS. I was hunting for pastries to take to a family lupper (lunch/supper), and the list of different forms and flavors at la Gabriella was outstanding! I called to ask if they would hold some aside until I could get there, and sweet Anna Maria said, "Sure we can!" It was 12:15, and they had almost sold everything they had baked that morning....yikes! I'm so happy they could hold a few: butterscotch pecan scones, an apple & cream pastry, a chocolate expresso muffin, and a cream Mayan bread. OH. MY. GOODNESS.... Each pastry was a class act and so delicious...I cut up each one, and everyone, five of us, got to sample whatever looked good to us. There was so much food, and because we all overate...as usual...I got to take home the better part of the pastries....HOORAY! Now I can't wait to visit my new favorite coffeeshop and sample even more pastries and try some of their coffees. AGGIELAND, YOU HAVE TO TRY LA GABRIELLA COFFEESHOP AND PASTRIES!! YOU WILL THANK ME LATER; I REST ASSURED!!”

Out of all the DBs in town, this one on University Dr is the only one that is really consistent with measuring their ingredients exactly every time. My coffee always tastes exactly the same here! “Used to go here for takeout back during COVID days, and have since then come back to dine in. Very glad to see it’s still popular, as it’s one of the best Korean restaurants for the price. They have all the authentic dishes, and I especially like the Aggie specials. They have a great lunch special offering as well. The dining area is small, but they give you all the expected sides and the family owning the shop is very nice. Definitely would be a go to spot if it was open for dining back in my college days.”
