They cook very well and they are very good people, they take care of them very well.
The man who serves and cooks is very friendly, I ordered some enchiladas with rice and beans, the red enchiladas were more or less good, the rice was very dry as if it had been there for days and the fresh horchata water tasted like a refrigerator

This is it. This is where you enjoy the right kinds of food. It's always empty but don't let that fool you! The machitos, tripitas, and barbacoa are perfection. Oh! And the enchiladas are fried with the chile on the tortilla.
An absolutely amazing family owned restaurant that provides a great time with fantastic food and and all around great experience I recommend Mezquite for everyone that loves authentic Mexican food and a happy environment!
