Ordered the Carne Asada but they were out of it and suggested the chicken with queso instead. This turned out to be a blessing because it was the best queso I've ever had. Plus the chicken was grilled to perfection.

We sat in there for 20 minutes and never saw or spoke to anyone. We heard the staff talking but never saw them.We ended up walking out and going somewhere else. I doubt they noticed we were even there.

I think there is a serious management issue here. Our waiter was serving and bussing tables at the same time, a very sweet young man. But you could tell he was overwhelmed. Whoever owns this place needs to CLEAN it up! It’s actually nasty on the inside. Our table cloth was so old and torn I wouldn’t put my fork on it. The food was pretty bland and chewy. I saw one lady say there was a live cockroach in her food, I believe it. The staff were SO NICE! Everything else fell below the bar. We sat behind the ice machine, which looked to be leaking and rusting. The inside needs a real makeover. And maybe a new chef

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Went to Lala’s while visiting Sonora, and unfortunately, I had a really unpleasant experience. My food was served with a live roach on the plate. I’ve never had that happen in my entire life. Needless to say, I lost my appetite. I get that accidents happen, but cleanliness should never be optional! Especially in a restaurant. I'm really hoping they take this seriously and make changes.

Worst experience ever we walk in and force some fajitas on that someone didn't pick them up and she said she didn't have a menu for us to see and if we order it would take 30min plus to get our food but my kids were hungry already but then other people showed up after up us an they did get a menu for them see but she just had told us she didn't have a menu for us too see !!! If I could I'll rate a 0 and after all that it was still expensive for what we had

We stopped here for dinner on our road trip from CA to Houston, TX. Food was excellent. Service was great and everyone was so friendly. We ordered nachos and fajitas. Had 2 margaritas. Highly recommend. Way better Mexican food than we have in Cali.
