We love trying new places and this just wasn't it. My pulled pork had ZERO smoke flavor, it tasted like it came from a crock pot. Then I needed bbq sauce so I asked and got some attitude that the sauce was on every table when it clearly wasn't on mine. So the person I asked went to a table where someone literally just got up from and grabbed the sauce, looking at me like I'm dumb for not doing that. Sorry but I'm not going to ask a stranger for the bbq sauce...
The brisket pieces, smoked turkey, and creamed corn were especially out of this world. Everything else was very good. My only complaint, is that the pickles boring normal ones. I always feel like making homemade pickles is an easy win to really elevate a restaurant -- especially when everything else is so good. The server was so friendly, and really cared about how we liked the turkey.
