Found this bar while I was walking around familiarizing myself with the area. Nice quick service from pleasant bartender, plus the three different beers I had were cheap in comparison to the other bars i had visited. Guinness was great. Could be my go to pub while I'm in Houston.

Situated right next door from the Curb Inn The Dog Tavern for me is more of a drinkers bar. A bit darker inside than the Curb but had more of a local feel .. We liked it .. Staff were excellent and service spot on .. I understand food from next door can be purchased and eaten here.. a big plus .. Sport everywhere on TVs if that’s your thing. Would I come back .. for sure ! My kind of place ..

Music is too loud!! Hate this place. We can hear the base booming until 2am or later. And we live 2 streets away!
