Great experience! The food was delicious. I recommend the shrimp scampi, the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the oysters. The service was great, Roberto helped us with everything. He was busy but took care of us.On the weekends there is usually live music. The ambiance is private. Everything happens around the bar.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible.

Cucked by a Holliday Inn. We came here for a bachelor party and we had sent 2 different people’s steaks back twice. The bacon wrapped shrimp was nasty and the server was not on our side when our food wa overcooked. If I were a server, I would have at least comped some drinks or something. We sent someone steak back and they brought the exact same steak back that one of us made a cut into ?. It was at least worth a good laugh

Great ambiance in restaurant, server was attentive but the only one working. My only gripe is we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Monday night, and it took forever to get our food. My tacos were tasty, but tortillas fell apart, and my crispy brussel sprouts were soggy. Both friends' fries were soggy like they were refried and sat a while. (How could that be? If the kitchen was only cooking for us, we could see them through the glass window) No wow factor.

Short staffed, staff was nice but they moved very slow and were obviously unsure of what they were doing. Food came out one plate at a time 15-20 minutes apart for a table of 7. There was a total of 11 people seated for food in the whole place and a few folks at the bar. Only 1 server, 1 bar tender, and 2-3 cooks. The time it took to get seated until we were served and ate took 3 hours total. The food was completely sub par for the cost and was actually just not good at all! The staff didn’t know how to make drinks or put checks together. The server brought bread out that was stale and only brought 4 rolls out for a table of 7 people. This place needs help on so many levels. I am just hoping I do not get sick from eating there.

Don't discount this hotel restaurant! The meals are excellent! I had the red snapper and it was excellent and breakfast was cooked to perfection. Dessert is absolutely delicious. Would recommend not leaving the island and having food here ? Robert is a great server

Do not expect an upscale experience. The whole experience was very awkward. They brought our appetizers before the dinner rolls, but then didnt bring any plates to eat off.Our dirty dishes from apps were looked at and ignored several times, when we did ask for them to be removed the server said "oh you want these removed, sure why not".When we asked for our daughters tenders to brought out early since we knew our own food would take longer the waiter shouted across the restaurant from our table. We had the chef special of the day, a tomahawk steak for 2, $80 was very telling because the steak low quality and very tough. The bacon wrapped shrimp were dry, the rice was instant it seems and the brussel sprouts were just kind of nasty.

Bartender double charged me for drinks. Paid cash for first two drinks, then decided to stay and have more drinks and order food. All drinks that were paid for with cash, four, were on the final ticket. When he was confronted with this he argued and said if anything we were under charged. Beat me out of $17.00 including the cash tip. Poor way to treat guests. I wouldn't go there again.

Wow! Did we just have the most delicious Sunday brunch at the Holiday Inn Resort! Chef Alex Lopez from the Azul Ocean Grill & Spirits inside the Holiday Inn Resort South Padre Island, Texas really goes all out in bringing a wonderful variety of items to choose from! My favorite is the spinach stuffed chicken breast. It melted in my mouth and is so good I had to go back for a second piece! My husband's favorite is the Alfredo pasta with chicken and mushrooms added. You can have your choice of what you want added to yours. Thank you to Nancy for your great service and for keeping my coffee cup filled!

Visited in mid-December on a Sunday evening, so we were the only ones there. I had the grilled snapper which comes with one side for $35. It was one of those market price things and I didn't ask, but wasn't expecting a whole fish. This was a treat! Seemed pretty resaonable for a restaurant in a hotel. Most importantly, it was amazing!I didn't bother my wife to photo her burger, but it also was great. Patty tasted like they grind 'em in house from steak trimmings. Fries were great, too. Also, get the bread pudding. While we were the only diners, the gentleman waiting on us did a excellent job. He checked on us the right amount (not too much which can be an unintended consequence of not being busy).Atmosphere nothing special, hotel dining. It was clean and well kept. Very pleasant experience.

I’m torn while writing this review. Only because the servers were really sweet!!! This restaurant does not deserve 4.4 stars!!! 2 star restaurantWe came here because the photos on google looked fantastic. We were surprised upon arrival that the restaurant was nearly empty. The service was spectacular! The manager and our server were accommodating and friendly the entire visit. Most likely because no one else was there. However, this entire restaurant is a phony front of being a fancy restaurant. When in reality, it’s a pig with lipstick on. Bless their hearts, but is lacking in a lot of ways. With their low lighting and nice table cloths, it may appear to be a nice restaurant, but it’s not.The food descriptions do not match what is served to you. I ordered a “Sous Vide Chicken” with “crispy Brussel sprouts”. Ha!!! There is no way that was sous vide. The chicken was dry and thin. They tried to cover that up with an obnoxious amount of creamy gravy like sauce. The Brussels sprouts tasted good but were soggy and burnt. The mussel dish was served in a flavorless broth .Chicken wings were small and lacked meat on the bones. The surf and turf appetizer which is cooked on a hot plate is a fun idea. However, the small shrimp and little amount of meat that comes with it doesn’t justify the experience. The meal was completely outrageously priced for less than mediocre food.Their servers were nice but I don’t come to a restaurant for their servers. I come to eat good and have a good dining experience. Which this failed to achieve. Don’t waste your money here.Additionally, the facilities are falling apart. Their bathrooms are dirty and out of soap and paper towels. The plus side, they had live music.
