Beers on tap weren't my favorite and didn't eat there, but service was good and it was a pretty cool little place.

Wanted to find something that was open late and not packed. Went here because the reviews. The kids chicken and fries were simple and average nothing to brag about frozen stuff just reheated. The bacon burgers also meh, just average patty, white buns straight out of the package. My wife's beef wrap was hearty and filling. Very loud which is understandable fo bar environment.

We tried this place because locals recommended it. It wasn’t what everyone made it out to be. Food was ok. We expected the fish & chips to be better since we’re next to the ocean, but the fish was tough and the beer batter wasn’t flavorful. The fish tacos had no love and no taste in them either. The waiter checked on us continuously, which was nice. Not a 5 ⭐ because he wasn’t helpful with recommendations. Overall, in my opinion, this is just a place that attracts tourists. Not necessarily a place where you want to satisfy an appetite.

Perhaps I have been spoiled by some excellent guacamole, but the dish of it served while were were dining was not good, to the extent we did not finish it. The atmosphere was great and they served a good burger along with a tasty selection of beers.

This is my first time in South Padre so I took a locals recommendation. It did not disappoint. The pear pizza is delicious!

The food was not great but not bad. I genuinely do not understand all the reviews praising the food. It’s generic tourist town food. I ordered a pizza and the crust was floppy, too much cheese, and toppings were of lower quality. Dominoes has better pizza.
I also ordered the fried pickles and cheese curds and it was generic deep fried food. $70 bill for two people including tip. Staff was nice.

So average. For the cost, everything should’ve been so much better. Noisy, crowded and well done burgers when we requested medium. $15 burgers that should’ve been $6. Dry, not seasoned meat on dry over toasted buns with a slice of Kraft American. Don’t waste your money. Whataburger would’ve been better. So sad. This place used to be so good.

Love the shrimp basket!

Kate was the bar tender when I stopped in for lunch. She was sooo friendly. And the Raspberry Wheat Ale was great!

Great atmosphere, service and food! Had to try the pizza due to its saying best pizza. No lies as it was the best I've tried.
