From the moment we made the reservation, Calabrese and staff were courteous and professional. We had a party of 10 and set up a formal room and contract for the celebration. (Heather was awesome!!!)They had plenty of pre planned options and the full menu available as well. It was very easy to work with the restaurant.I want to preface this and say we are all from NYC area and get some of the best Italian food in the world. This restaurant greatly exceeded our expectations. It very well might be the best Italian food I've ever had in the states.Homegrown vegetables, imported ingredients from Italy, phenomenal wine list, knowledgeable sommelier. Rare finds like a red hot Amaro. We were all overjoyed from the care and attention we were shown from the entire staff. The food came out piping hot and all pastas were cooked to al dente perfection. We all raved about our dishes and tasted everything we could from others at the table. From the bread all the way through the dessert, there was not one detail left aside or overlooked. Lastly, they even took care of us at the end and helped drive my father in law (Vietnam Veteran) back to the hotel in the golf cart. All class!!!!!The experience was so good, we even ate their another night (Monday - half price Wine!) I'm going to have to travel to Texas again for another fix. Thank you very much for making us feel like royalty. See you soon!

I come here often. The good food dinner is great. This time I ordered margarita pizza. Pure think. There is zero buffalo mozzarella on here. I do not see round pieces of it. Don’t tell me they melted it and blended it with other cheese. Anyways. You can get better pizza from Trader Joe’s. They need to up their game if they call themselves Italian restaurant.

They greet you with smiles and the owner/chef comes around and checks on you to ensure your experience is the best. I have my birthday brunch here and I plan to have it here everything.

Where do I start? We've been to Calabrese a few times now but tonight was hands down our best experience and we owe it all to our waitress, MK, who made the night absolutely incredible. She was sweet, engaging, and genuinely wanted to make a connection with us. We were out for a family dinner and from the start of the night, MK made it a point to make sure we were taken care of. She simply could not miss with her recommendations on appetizers, wine, entrees, and desserts. Everything she suggested was spot on and absolutely delicious. The pear and almond cake dessert, wow - you simply have to try it. Me personally, I would've never considered it - but not only did MK sell it, she promised us that if we didn't like it, she'd take it off of the bill.Honestly, even with all of our food tasting amazing, this night simply doesn't reach the levels of enjoyment we experienced as a family had it not been for MK and her service. Before the night was done, not only did she know all of our names, but she shared some really cool factoids about the owner and his wife that enhanced our overall experience. What at an amazing night, with amazing food, and incredible service - MK, you are a rockstar and we plan to ask for you every time we come back to Calabrese!This place is worth every penny - but make sure you ask for MK if you want a night to remember!
