Small family owned Mediterranean cafe. Place is clean, and without overwhelming decor, just enough to make it look well presentable. When we first stepped inside, we had a warm welcome and were well introduced to the menu.We ordered food to go:1.Hummus with two pita breads (pita breads-tasty, round one was very good)2.Trio-kebab platter (chicken gyro, chicken shish kebab, and gyro) all three meats were so delicious.3.Adana kebab (two lamb skewers over white rice) it's ok.This place serves a large selection of food; salads, meats, dips, and fruits, also different types of baklavas. While we were waiting for our order, we were given a free hot tea with a cube of sugar on the side as a complementary. They do catering and service large groups of people, with gift cards and table reservations available for any occasions. Variety of beverages available from hot to cold to soft drinks. Tables were spread out enough to give you and your family some privacy while you enjoy your meal. The order transaction happens at your table, you keep your card at all times, what is a big plus and respect to this place. Istanbul has delectable dishes with a very welcoming atmosphere! They have wonderful service. I get to-go orders from this place all the time and the last two times I was there they gave me some tea on the house while I waited for my food to be ready, which was very sweet. Make sure to try the Gyro Platter, the pita bread, hummus and Baklava. It is mouthwatering! I'll be telling all my friends to go here. It is a hidden gem and I want more people to know how amazing it is <3

We enjoyed our early evening dinner at Istanbul Cafe so much, we have decided to make this place a regular spot in our rotation of restaurants we frequent in Southlake. The servers were great, checking up on us just the right number of times which lets us know they are attentive but also respectful of our time enjoying our meal. Food was delicious; we can't wait to return to try more items.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of meatless options to satisfy vegetarian friends.

Fantastic food in Southlake! Everything the family had was delicious. The place smelled fantastic when we walked in. When they brought out the golden brown shiny bread loaves, I knew this was going to be tasty.It's a family run operation and everyone was exceptionally attentive. Polite and courteous service is so hard to find. Here, it really feels like you are almost dining in their home.I am so happy that we are finally getting more quality restaurants in Southlake.I highly recommend this new spot

We had the Sultan's Delight of appetizers, and it was SO good! Also ordered the Branzini and Stuffed cabbage, both were delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and family friendly. Will be back for sure.
