Great hotel and the bar is amazing. We only had appetizers and drinks, but highly recommend! Great atmosphere and really fun place. Bartenders Alissa and Maria were FANTASTIC bartenders. Great conversation and amazing drinks!

We celebrated my husbands birthday at Jellicos. It was great, a hidden gem for sure. The poblano white bean dip was amazing! The filet mignon was delicious and tender. We had one little problem with the meats, I asked for the filet mignon to be medium well, and my husband wanted his T Bone to be medium, and they mixed those terms, the T bone also needed a bit more flavor but everything else was delicious. The servers and everyone were great, but Hala made the night special. What a sweet soul! She made sure my husband got a birthday cake and sang the song even when no one else joined! The curve lounge was packed, but it looked like fun, and prices were surprisingly low, we would come back and try the lounge too !

Our experience is always amazing at this restaurant, but let me tell you about the incredible highlight we had yesterday on Valentine's dinner. There was this lady working there, Hala, who completely transformed the atmosphere with her infectious positivity. I cannot stress enough how much her positive energy elevated our experience to a whole new level. I absolutely recommend that when you visit Jellico at the Westin Hotel in southlake to keep an eye out for Hala. Her positivity is guaranteed to make your experience truly fantastic!

Firstly, our waitress was amazing, and the restaurant's ambiance was beautiful. Overall, our drinks, appetizers, and salad came out fast. Yet, our dinner took longer than usual or an expected time and we were not told why. Also, the other tables around us were experiencing the same thing (late arrival of dinner). Further, all we received was an apology. I assumed maybe an apology from the manager or even comping part of our meal would have occurred, but nothing happened. Although our dinner was rushed out to us, it was served cold. The ribeyes, potatoes, and asparagus were tasteful, but a cold dinner was not what I expected on Valentine's Day. The dessert was fantastic though, so at least the meal was wrapped up well. Overall, we will not be returning.
Came in for Valentines dinner. Order the special for $60 a plate. The lobster bisque was really good, a large portion and I couldn't eat all of it. Spouse had the salad, very small, but tasted good. We both ordered Ribeyes with shrimps. Large steak and three shrimp with three white asparagus and some potatoes. Steak was ok, was lacking a bit of flavor in spots which was odd. Shrimp was really flavorful, although my spouses weren't as flavorful as mine? Seemed they put more sauce on mine. Dessert was a mango mouse and chocolate opera cake. They were dry and just ok. Looked like slices you would get off a buffet, nothing special. Timing between courses was pretty bad. 15 mins for apps, almost an hour later for main and then barely 5 for dessert. We did have the other dessert to go. Got home, two very large strawberries covered in chocolate both decorated as a tux, thought it was odd? Two heart cookies cute decorations on them. Overall, would possibly go back at least for drinks and apps. Some things were good, others were lackluster. A little overpriced for the value/taste. Staff were very nice.
I had the ribeye and she had the filet. Both cooked to perfection at medium rare, but were very bland. Neither had much if any flavor so if you a prefer simple “salt & pepper” then this restaurant has that style for you, otherwise I recommend pairing it with a sauce like Béarnaise or Hollandaise just to wake up your tastebuds. This was our Valentines dinner and for “us” it was certainly a great choice. The experience met our expectations and the restaurants ambiance was well described prior to reserving a table. The lighting, sound, space, and decor all had the vibe as what we were looking for. Bright, busy and lively. Definitely energetic being in the heart of the Westin hotel, just past the Curve longe, the focal point was the large open kitchen with beautiful stainless to the ceiling. The black tablecloths on this day were very bold with the white china and crystal, scattered rose pedals around the centerpiece they popped like the Fourth of July. Well done!
