We had a great meal at Malai. The waiter was totally knowledgeable about vegan diets and easily pointed to his favorites. They gave a complimentary appetizer which just happened to be naturally vegan!

Delicious food, good service, and they have an entire visible brewery right in the restaurant!! Was honestly very surprised

Wr ordered poorly. But the beef pho was tasteless and served in the danger zone of 127 degrees. That should come off menu so should the shrimp spring roll. The balance between protein and vegetables was awful. Drinks are over priced.

I will come again to try something else but first round...not good

The first thing I noticed was a gross black layer of grime along all the baseboards. We waited an unusually long time for our food. When the appetizer sampler came, the chicken satay was very dry. We mentioned it to a member of staff and they literally said something along the lines of “Yeah it so dry”. Okay so this place knowingly serves bad meat? Like you just gotta brine the meat or cook it to a better temperature. For as upscale as a restaurant, cooking juicy and tender chicken should be feasible, no?

When I got my entree of drunken noodles, it was good flavor wise. The vegetables were borderline raw though, and the portion was unbelievably small. Also, the beef was dry and had parts so tough, I had to pull it out of my mouth. I didn’t mention it to staff this time though; I didn’t want to seem like a Karen.

After finding eggshells in my mom’s entree after we took it home, I unfortunately have to be a Karen.

Tonight, I was hungry after nursing my baby and putting her to sleep. I heated up my mom’s leftover Mekong noodles and despite it being ordered to medium spice, it wasn’t spicy(And I have a low spice tolerance). I take a bite and…. Crunchy eggshell overload.

It wasn’t a small eggshell either; it was gigantic. Idk if the eggs are cracked-to-order, but if so whoever was on the line was extremely negligent. An eggshell this size could KILL someone. This company better thank Jesus my baby was asleep, because if she was up I would have given her parts of the egg… my little baby girl could have choked, gotten a tear in her mouth/throat/stomach, or even died from a puncture wound while digesting it.

So…. Dry chicken, tough beef, raw vegetables, and eggshells in the food. Oh and potentially killing a baby too.

This is urgent and needs to be addressed. I’m not doing this for free crap, i want proof that SERIOUS training/correction was made about this. I don’t mean just telling the egg prep guy “hey bro be careful” I mean serious correction.

Please realize the only reason there is not a lawsuit going on right now is because my baby was sleeping.

So I used to go here quite often a good couple months ago with my girlfriend but due to money and how far it is from us, we haven't been able to go but both me and her regularly think about the food and how awesome the service was. Hopefully we will be able to go again here soon. They also make the best pineapple fried rice and tiramisu (I think that's how it's spelled lol) truly is an amazing place to visit

I have been coming here for years. Over the years the quality has gone downhill
Ordered 3 identical dishes(drunken noodles), one was served undercooked, one was served drenched in lighter fluid, and the last one was served cold.
Only one of them was taken off our bill.
The portion size has decreased as well.

Tonight was my first experience with friends. It was 10 out of 5 stars.
I loved the atmosphere. It's a vibe. Candle light on the table top. Perfect view of chefs preparing order for dine in and to go.
The tapestries on the walls are beautiful. Lots to look at until the food hits the table...fresh. Now, let's talk about the flavors....10/5 stars. So many profiles. I had the ginger detox tea. I'm kind of obsessed with it now. Thank You for the free refills! Then, I absolutely had to try the desert. Banana pot de creme. Another 10/5 stars.

Big shout out to Brianna. She was very attentive, courteous, and provided a 10/5 level of service.

Overall: 30/15 stars.

Love the service here! It is rare to find truly great service. They are definitely a little slower, but that’s very understandable since they make most things from scratch.
