Came to mi cocina for a girls night and let me tell you if you're visiting the DFW area, this place is a must !!! We sat at the bar with Hector and he provided great customer service and the handmade margaritas were on point. Will definitely come again and I suggest sitting at the bar with hector for good food, drinks and a great time.

We have been frequent diners at this location since 2005. We love the location and atmosphere. The food and service are normally good but both have been slipping a bit recently. The servers seem less attentive. This evening my wife didn't eat any of her three fish tacos. They were over seasoned (red flag for fish) and didn't taste good. Our waiter, Noe who has been one of our regulars, never asked how our food was or questioned why my wife didn't consume her main dish. We weren't looking for a freebie and didn't point out the obvious, paid and left. Going to give this place a rest and hope they make some adjustments.

We had the best time here last night, the staff is incredible and take such pride. The menu was even better! Try the mombo taxi, so tasty! Hector and Humberto were the best, thank you for everything!

The food is always great, as is the service. But deduct a star because it's pretty ridiculous that a place as popular as this won't accept reservations for large parties. End up waiting an hour for a table, crowding the lobby, for a party of 15...cmon yall you can do better.

Mi Cocina Southlake is our go-to for Tex-mex and margaritas! The food is consistently delicious and you can’t find “Skinny” frozen Margs/Mambos anywhere else. Our fave server, Sonia, is the best and always makes us feel special. Noel, too. We’ve seen a lot of changes here over the years and they’ve definitely returned to their original high-quality food and service.
