Mulino is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is very good and the prices are quite reasonable. One of the things I like best is the service. All of the staff is friendly and professional. But I would single out Tony as the best waiter working there and is my favorite waiter anywhere. He is friendly, knowledgeable and does an outstanding job. He has a winning personality, and makes the customer feel welcome and the overall experience is enhanced because of his attention to every detail. He is a real asset to the restaurant!

Looks nice inside and put side but the food was horrible. Pasta was drenched in oil and had a nasty aftertaste, even though I got the easiest and most basic entree: Fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken added in. The server also wasnāt great as they barely came by and did not refill my water. Never coming back.

Iām from north jersey, land of Italian restaurants, and half my family is Italian, so I feel like I know good Italian food. This was the worst Italian meal Iāve ever had!
1. House salad was drenched in oil. 2. First of all, the waitress didnāt know how to pronounce āpasta fagioliā. I had to point to the menu. Next, the soup was like an Italian chili: tomato base, tons of beans and ZITI! Who puts in ziti in pasta fagioli!? 3. I specifically came here because I was craving linguine with white clam sauce. Firstly, there were three empty shells on my plate. There was a broken shell in the pasta. I ate two clams and both were the chewiest seafood Iāve ever had. There were also no clams in the sauce itself. On a positive note, the pasta wasnāt overcooked. 4. They gave the skimpiest slices of bread for the table!! It was good, but cmon- Iām not making a sandwich here!

I have wanted to try this restaurant for several years and just hadnāt made it there until tonight. I was served a couple of pieces of complementary fresh braked bread slices with olive oil and basil. After looking at the menu, I was torn between the Pepperanota Di Salsiccia sausage and peppers pasta entrĆ©e and having a pizza. I chose the pizza as I had seen pictures of their pizza and it looked great. I chose the Macellaio āThe Butcherā pizza and added onions to it. This is a bit over the max number of ingredients you would ever want to put on a Neapolitan-style pizza! The pizza was cooked just right and all of the toppings looked fresh and rustic cut and pinched fresh mozzarella were spread around.
This is probably one of the best Neapolitan pizzas Iāve had in a very long time! Everything about it was so flavorful especially the crust and Italian sausage.
After telling my waiter Tony, how fantastic the pizza was and that it was my first time eating there he brought me a complementary dessert, tiramisu cake. The cake was great and not overly sharp with liqueur. ??????āļø???
I brought home half of the pizza and cake.
I will have to go back to try the Pepperanota Di Salsiccia sausage and peppers pasta.
