Great food with a unique menu. Service was initially a little slow ,but the manager and server made up for it. They were very apologetic, friendly and attentive to our table. Definitely with a return trip.
Stopped in for lunch and they didn't disappoint!! The food was delicious. Trinity was our dining experience host. She was very attentive, answered all our questions, and was sure to deliver our food hot. The manager Paul stopped by to welcome us as first time guest. I had the Catfish Sandwich with Garlic Fries and my bonus sister had the Chicken and Waffles. We also had the Fried Green Tomatos but devoured those before a pic was taken, lol. I will definitely visit again. Amazingly great service and food!!

We loved this restaurant. But it has either changed hands or owners or something. They've taken things off the menu, it is not the same. Very disappointed with our experience there. The fried chicken tenders were great, but what happened to the fried chicken meal? And the french fries used to be great and now they were not. Completely different shape and size and over baked and fried and limp.
1. Made a reservation, and got sat at arguably the worst table in the restaurant.
2. Waiter took 15 minutes to come take our order. And also took another 15 minutes to get us our check. It got to the point where a second waiter had to come help.
3. Got rid of the honey butter chicken biscuit.
4. Asked for the pancake and chicken tenders, but to swap out the pancakes for a biscuit. Manger said no. Tried to get me to buy both that ($20) and a side of biscuits ($10).
5. Ordered a side of fruit ($8). Came out and it was 9 blue berries, 4 blackberries, and 2 strawberries. All of that (almost nothing) for $8. For comparison, you could go to Whole Foods and buy the large pack of organic strawberries (2lbs) for less than that.
Unfortunately, we used to love coming here, and will never be back.

All I can say is WOW! The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The macaroni and cheese was rich, creamy, and hands-down the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The tacos were spot-on—perfectly seasoned with a fresh, flavorful sauce that elevated the dish. My friend couldn’t get enough of the garlic butter fries and the chicken fried steak, both of which were absolutely delicious.
A huge shoutout to Trinity, our server, who gave us flawless recommendations for lunch. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our experience even better.
The only downside was the 30-minute wait for our food, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy. But honestly, the quality and taste made it worth every minute. Next time, we’ll be sure to come when we’re not on a tight lunch break.
Rating: 100%—we’ll definitely be back!

Everything was great. First time I’ve taken my wife here and I had to pry her from the table when it was time to leave. Will definitely be coming back! Plenty of options for the kids too!

Music is loud . We asked to have it lowers but that didn't happen. Good was good-little pricey and service was good.
Took my gf here on her lunch break, we were the only customers in the restaurant. After 30 minutes of waiting for our food we had to ask for it to go, not once did the waiter or manager address how long the food was taking. The food is pretty good though, however due to the awful service I will not be back.

Whistle Britches is the coziest, happiest, and tastiest place to have brunch. Everyone is so nice and the food and drinks are exceptional. They season everything to perfection and even my kids love it.

The online Southlake menu did not match the menu in the store. Since we made reservations severall of us had looked ahead at the menu, but we were disappointed when we couldn't make the same selections in the store. The waitress seemed put off by our party. I asked for a to go order with the check. She brought the order out before the check. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy she later brought us our check before we asked for it, basically as if she was ready for us to be done. The food tasted amazing, however due to the horrible service, I won't be back.

We had a family Sunday brunch and had never been there before. The menu was full of so many good things, and the chicken is what they're known for. We started with some small but delicious Bloody Mary's and a carafe of mimosas. My wife got the chicken sandwich, which was absolutely huge! I tried some of it and the chicken was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak which is way too big for one person to eat. The cream gravy was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was fast, and it was a nice, casual atmosphere. I would recommend it for a fun lunch or brunch.
Why did you all change the lunch menu? Fried green tomatoes no longer our favorite! Disappointed
