Loved their tasting, cocktails, friendly staff, and spacious grounds. Looking forward to having a bottle at home and returning for future events.

What a great place! Very laid back with a nice vibe and OUTSTANDING spirits. The signature bourbon is fantastic and the hot scotch butterscotch whiskey is amazing.Go to the food truck and get the nachos! Loaded with plenty of meat.If you're lucky they'll also have the bourbon bread pudding, which is simply delicious.

Great spot and has so much potential to be a good music venue.

Beautiful setting in Texas Hill Country. Games for the family and kids. The distilled spirits were delicious! Enjoyed the visit!

What a magical place to visit. Something to do for the whole family. They have live music, games, playground, open field and plenty of seating. And of course the food trucks are great and the drinks are very well made. The vibe is perfect. I can’t wait to go back.

Really cool place in middle of nothing. Easy drive from Marble Falls. Owner did my tasting. Loved the giddy-up vodka. Will be good in my bloody marys.

We have enjoyed coming here before but today I am super unimpressed. I’m willing to pay a fair price for an alcoholic drink but this was a Shirley Temple!! $4.00 for that?? Give me a breakLeaves an overall bad impression of the whole place , which is supposed to be family friendly, when they take advantage of you like that. There’s an awesome distillery/winery right up 71 ?‍♀️Edit after response:The zero drink was left by someone else at our table. I just grabbed it for size reference for the picture, so I’m not sure who you remember talking to. The young man who I paid should absolutely have told me that that was a refillable drink. I even commented that for $4 do I at least get the rest of the can of soda and he just gave me a pained look. Yes - I agree, if there are unlimited refills your pricing is fine, but if the customer is not told that by the bartender or cashier what good is the policy?

This is one of the best hidden treasures outside of Austin! Totally worth the drive from the city. It’s a beautiful location. It’s family friendly and pet friendly. Wonderful drinks served by happy staff…and kind owners that are always willing to stop for a chat. It continues to grow for more entertainment possibilities. It’s a total gem!

What an absolutely wonderful place to spend a day with friends and family. The property is beautiful, very kid friendly (jungle gym, space to run, big Jenga, giant beer pong with garbage cans and basketballs), food from the food truck was very good, great cocktails courtesy of Taryn, and the list goes on and on.My favorite part of our day at Iron Wolf was the time we spent with with Jordan and Glenda (2 of the owners). They were both generous with their time and seemed like genuinely decent people. We were all happy to support Glenda & Jordan and are pulling for their continued success and growth.I would be remiss if I didn't talk about the whiskey. I am very big into American whiskey, have a good sized collection (100+ bottles) and think I have a well tested pallet. I never had any Iron Wolf products before today and came away extremely impressed with their lineup of flavored whiskeys - hotscotch is going to be a staple on my bar going forward. The barrel aged rum and their gin were both stellar as well. I left their bourbon for last because I am very annoyed at myself for not trying it sooner. It's a 5 & half (close to 6 year) high rye bourbon at 90 proof that is absolutely fantastic. I wouldn't have guessed Texas whiskey. There is no Texas funk, no over tannic notes, just a well bodied vanilla oak bomb with a wonderful spicy finish. Jordan talked about their cycling of barrels through different environments and how they have tested control barrels against other aging methods and I am here to tell that work has paid off - I couldn't believe what I was drinking.Last note, they are big into live music at the distillery - they recently built an amphitheater on the property. If the good family vibes and drinks don't get you out to Iron Wolf, then go for the music. Lots of events were posted for the next few months including a big show benefiting the military coming up.Cannot wait to go back.

Very nice relaxing place to have a drink, get a bite to eat and play some games like corn hole, mega beer pong. There are things here for small kids too. Definitely will be returning.

Nice venue. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. Wife and I had mixed drinks with the Bloody Mary edging out the Mojitos for the favorite. No band playing that day, but it has a nice set up for music events. Bit of a drive ( just past Spicewood) but worth the trip. Good relaxed place for families, groups, or couples.

A good venue with the potential to be a great venue.Let's answer your most important question up top: Is there a wolf here? Only on Friday evenings. The owners have a wolf hybrid named Luna, but she's (he?) only there for happy hour on Fridays.Iron Wolf is aimed squarely at the "Rosé all day" crowd, with spirits such as butterscotch whisky or horseradish vodka and continuous top 40 country over the speakers. That being said, there's some legitimately good liquor being made here, most notably the gin (not overly floral) and the vodka (specifically the vodka flavored vodka). I was also pleasantly surprised by the rum, but Iron Wolf doesn't distill that on-site.Every single employee I ran into was downright welcoming, this was probably the most friendly distillery I've ever visited. Don't sleep on the food trucks either (Phoenix something or other?). Their breakfast was incredible, some of the best salsa I've ever had.Why not 5 stars? It seems like Iron Wolf isn't quite ready for prime time. There were a bunch of little inconveniences that added up. They had two bars set up, but only one bartender (?). Despite having two pretty large buildings, indoor seating is tiny; the distillery itself is sprawling, but when your only choice is to sit outside, you'd better plan on having great weather. As others have mentioned, bathrooms are at a premium as well. They trucked in a nice portable bathroom, which definitely helped. The second building looks like it's going to be a dedicated seating space (with bathrooms!) which should eliminate all of these issues, but that won't be finished until late August. We'll revisit in Fall and see how things are progressing!

We went out for a "Sip and Shop" event. We didn't have anything to eat but the drinks were amazing. The entire staff was super friendly and made the experience so enjoyable. They are planning on expanding and I feel it will be a phenomenal venue for families and just adult activities.
