Our visit to Stone House Vineyard was pure perfection from start to finish! The chef’s wine and food pairing was a masterclass in flavor — each course thoughtfully crafted and beautifully balanced with the wines. Truly a bang for your buck considering the quality and experience!
A special shoutout to Angelica, our wine connoisseur, who was beyond wonderful. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and never once rushed us, allowing us to savor every sip and bite at our own pace. Her passion for the wines made the experience even more special.
Stone House Vineyard is the perfect wine spot — breathtaking views, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable tasting that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even left. Highly, highly recommend! 🍷✨
Friendly service, good atmosphere, but could have used an injection of live music. Appetizers were tasty, but no actual local wines which was a let down. Overall good time.
Last week our son got married at Stone House Vineyard and it was magical. They were married in front of an old oak tree with lake Travis in the background. Family and friends were amazed at how beautiful the scenery was, and local guests commented that Stone House Vineyard was a hidden gem and that they never knew it was there. As we turned to walk up the patio for dinner, the sun was just beginning to set casting a glow on the green vines. The tables were set with beautiful flowers and candles. This wedding would not have gone off as easily as it did if it had not been for Susan and her wonderful staff. Her timing was impeccable, and she made it her mission to see that every part of the wedding went off like clockwork. Kristine, an amazing and talented chef, served appetizers that were not only delicious but unique. Then came the dinner and the Wagyu beef tenderloin was out of this world. I heard one guest comment that it was the best meal he had in 47 years. Best of all, the wine was superb. We chose 3 wines from their collection; the Enargelia, a Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Grenache Blanc and all were incredible. My thanks go out to Stone House Vineyard for helping make this wedding a memory we will cherish forever.
Recommend, had an amazing time staff really wonderful and knowledgeable about products, friendly, it was a last minute trip had a blast Lynne was amazing!!!!
Native Texan here - who in the world would build a whole vinyard on land like this beside a lake that is basically now dying due to water demand?! I hate to say it but, maybe learn something from your native California, and dont use up the resources and then conplain that theyre used up!!. I couldnt believe it when I saw this on google maps - A vineyard on the side of Lake Travis, a lake fed by the Colorado river, which is seeing more demand than ever in its lifetime. Please close this and move on for the sake of our environment. I just had to say this. Thanks.
Absolutely five stars! Stone House Vineyard is a true gem, and our experience there was made all the more memorable thanks to Peggy. She was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Peggy went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, answered all of our questions with genuine enthusiasm, and made fantastic wine recommendations that we absolutely loved. One of the highlights was when she—completely unprompted—stood on a chair to get the perfect angle for our group photo. It was such a thoughtful and fun gesture that perfectly captured her dedication to making sure we had a great time. Her passion for the vineyard and commitment to excellent service truly stood out. We’ll definitely be back—thanks to Peggy and the beautiful atmosphere at Stone House Vineyard!
Went on April 25th while traveling to Spicewood for the weekend and had an absolutely extraordinary experience. I was treating my friend for her birthday weekend! The wine tasting was so fun! Our host Carolyn was on the spot always helping us out and making recommendations. I love the fact she took the time to tell us the background of Stonehouse Vineyards. It’s nice to learn what inspires others and getting them to their goals on their journey. I loved hearing about how people will volunteer to help with the harvest at the Vineyard. I hope to one day be able to do that. Everyone was so friendly , while also very attentive. I definitely plan to visit again soon.
What a cool place! Great wine and beautiful views. Wine bottles are very reasonable plus they have an awesome dog that kept us company ❤️
Excellent 👌👍
I am obsessed with this winery. We had the most excellent service, and the wine was absolutely delicious. I love the story of how the wine owner is tied to all the different wines, and the Cuvees Cuddles is beyond! We will definitely be back due to the service and area!
