Never disappointed with splendora cafe. Boss burger, chicken fried chicken, fried pickles, hamburger steak, ribs and brisket are a hit! I’ve honestly never had something I didn’t like from here!
Ordered a burger and it made me nauseous. It tasted like a soy burger and not real beef. Even the texture the way it crumbled apart seemed like a soy burger. Only ate 3 bites and was no longer in the mood to eat. 11/30/25

My husband and I have given Splendora Cafe two chances, and unfortunately both visits ended the same way. The first time, we honestly thought it was just a fluke but the food made us sick afterward. We decided to try again and even dined in, ordering something completely different. We didn’t even get to finish our meal before having to rush home because it made us sick again.
I’m not sure what the issue is, especially since we ordered different items each time, but after two experiences like this, we won’t be returning, which really sucks because the food tasted good, it just didn’t sit well at all.

Ordered the fried seafood player. Fish was over cooked, turned out this fish is swai and it is only about 1/4 inch thick. Had I known it was swai I would not have ordered it, for me it’s a trash fish. The hush puppies experience was like biting into a crunchy dried up grease ball. The fried okra was missing flavor and lacked the crunch that I like. The fried shrimp could have probably been cooked for a lesser time. On a positive note the Cole slaw was perfect with a hint of mild sweetness and the salad bar was not too bad offering fresh salad. The staff is friendly.
