The caldo de res was good overall. The broth was decent, and it came with a good amount of vegetables and meat.
The only thing I didn’t really like was the meat. They only used one cheaper cut, and there was no anillo, so some of it was a little chewy. I definitely prefer when caldo has a mix of different cuts because it gives the soup more flavor and the meat is usually more tender.

Antojitos Morales El Chapin offers delicious, good, mouthwatering food that is fresh, with very good prices. The restaurant is clean, and the workers are very nice, friendly, and polite. The service is attentive, with a waiter who is friendly. The shuco with 3 kinds of meat and french fries are very good, and the beef soup is very good. Of the 3 Guatemalan restaurants in the area, this one has the best tortillas—thick, fresh, and hot. The pepian de pollo is good, and the whole black beans are liked. The rice is nice and soft. Guests can get glasses of water. The only complaint is that the music is a little too loud.
