The double cooked pork was too salty ,the onion pancakes were preprepared from supermarket, which I cook at home every day. So disappointed!!!

Was awesome, but changed owners and menu. Used to eat here 2 to 8 times a week. I have eaten here 2 times since owner change and what a disappointment.

Had to stop in the middle of eating my lunch to leave this review. My goodness is all I need to say. These chefs get down foreal. Their general tso is so good, their singapore noodles SLAP and don't even get me started on the fried rice. The customer service is wonderful. 1000 stars for Chuan Cafe. Blessed that my job is down the road because I will absolutely be back!!

I originally thought it was American-style Chinese food, but I didn't expect it to be authentic Sichuan food. I stayed at the airport temporarily for one night and didn't want to go to Chinatown to eat, so I looked around nearby, and I didn't expect to find a surprise.

This place used to be descent. Change of owners and the dishes are not that great anymore and the portion seems smaller. Menu options has been cut and does not have the beef flat noodles. BEWARE if you pay with credit card, the new owner NOW charges you $2 fee. That is an overhead cost of having a business. Why punish the customers for using a credit card?? That is NOT right at all. We will not be back.

Unfortunately, the worst food I’ve had in quite a while..
Went out with a cousin to grab lunch, and we were extremely disappointed. Chicken was tough, sauce was atrocious.
Avoid the Sesame Chicken.
Service was okay.

Honest review! My best friend and I were craving chineses food an stumbled upon this GEM! The service was top notch and the food was even better. We are definitely going back soon. We ordered the hot mango chicken in garlic, trio veggie plate, shrimp lo mein, the pan fried dumplings, and wonton soup! Soo yummy! Thank you Chuan!! ❤️

Under new management as “Big City” as of 7/30/2024 though the sign outside is not changed. Lunch menu has increased in price now and no egg roll included. Hot and sour soup was tasteless. Had sesame chicken which was so-so. Only had hot mustard in packets and it was super bland.

This place used to be great for authentic Sichuan food. Now it's under new management and terrible. The brown rice tasted a day old, and the spicy chinquan chicken was cold. Apparently the original owners sold it and moved to Chinatown. Not going back.

I read a lot of Google reviews and decided to have a late lunch here. Let’s say the worst the dish we ordered was the Szechuan Style cold noodles. The noodles were 3-4 inches long and it was too sweet for the Szechuan style noodles. We didn’t ask for refund but they refund it. The second worst dish was the cumin lamb. I have never had this kind of cumin lamb. There was a lot of onion, green and red bell peppers as filler of the dish. The lamb was way too tender. I mean I couldn’t taste those was lamb or something else. This is not cumin lamb at all. The shredded pork with spicy garlic sauce is ok. The beef tendon and tripe in chili sauce is best of all dishes we ordered however there was no tripe in the dish at all. The flavor was really good. We don’t think we will revisit here. We really hope that there are some good Chinese restaurants in Spring and the woodlands. Unfortunately we still need to drive to the China town.
