We had dinner at Creole Gold last night and I can't say one bad thing!! Not only is the food like being at home in LA but the hospitality is even better...just like true LA love, it's try this and this and this!!! Definitely made me feel like I was home!!

My daughter and I attended the AYCE crawfish boil for our first visit to Creole Gold Seafood Company. The staff was very friendly and we were offered a cup of complimentary gumbo while we waited on the next batch of crawfish. The gumbo was GREAT! We ate about 9 lbs of crawfish between the both of us and they were good but they could've been more spicier. Overall we had a really good time and experience. I'd return again if I'm ever in the area.

Jambalaya, Gumbo, Catfish, Fried Shrimp Po-boy, crawfish cheese sauce, Boudin and Red Beans & Rice. Everything has been fresh, tasty and generally out-of-this-world good. I'm intent on trying everything on the menu and making pretty good progress in my mission. Some of the best Creole / Cajun food that I've ever had.

The best gumbo around! We tried the gumbo, catfish, boudin, and crawfish. All of our food was excellent, and we enjoyed visiting with the husband and wife owners. Will definitely be back.

We made an afternoon run to the food trucks in the area... Tan across this one and selected the catfish, jambalaya, and gumbo to try.. YUM! Everything tasted great. The catfish and jambalaya went well together and the gumbo reminded me of my days in New Orleans. Its been really hard to find good creole food since moving to Houston, but this place does the trick. Will be going back to try the rest if the menu.

Damn, that Gumbo is Delicious! So much meat and the broth is tasty not too spicy, good amount of salt, and great creaminess. We got Boudain too and it's the best Boudain I've had in a long while.
Really great gumbo, loaded with chicken, sausage, and shrimp good spice level, creamy broth, and right amount of rice. Their Boudain is delicious! The best I've had so far.

Excellent étouffée and bread pudding! Good amount of heat and the buttercream rum topping on the bread pudding was a great topper. Had to get some to take home to the husband.

If you find yourself at a Houston, TX Food Truck festival, (or really any place in that area that has food trucks), be sure to see if this one will be there. Can we say, DELICIOUS???? This is the real deal, Louisiana cooking, people. No doubt about it! We had the fried catfish and jambalaya plate, shrimp and crawfish Monica pasta, and also got to try the crawfish nachos. So good! You will not be disappointed! Also, on top of the amazing food, the customer service is great! They fry you fish only after you order it so of course you will have a wait for that, but it is worth every single minute of your wait. They are friendly and efficient, with some awesome food...how can it get better?
