Sweet shops like this are my fave.Walking into this store was like going back in time for new and old favorites. We saw our old time favorite of root beer sticks and even scored some cotton candy and apple sugar sticks used to have as a kid.The staff was pleasantly friendly and helpful.Easy store to walk around and if you like something a little sweet definitely worth a look .

This was my first time in this shop. I was greeted right away and felt very appreciated as a customer. The gentleman that checked us out was very kind and personable! The shop is adorable, the prices are very reasonable, and they have an amazing selection of goodies! They have an entire wall of nothing but taffy, more flavors than I could ever imagine! The taffy we purchased was delicious! I will definitely be returning!

Every time I go to Old Town Spring I always stop here to get candy for my son. They have so many different and unique items, it’s hard for my son to decide. I usually like getting something from the chocolate counter myself!

Great place to shop for candy! There are all kinds of vintage and hard to find things, it is so cool to just wander around and reminisce. Also, many homemade truffles, fudges, chocolates and similar goodies. Lots of varieties of soda and drinks as well. I teach a class and I like to buy cool and different items to reward my students with. I found a crazy selection of Japanese kit kat bars and took those to hand out. A must visit for any trip to Old Town Spring!

Fantastic little candy shop, with a huge soda selection. The owner Barry is very nice and always has a smile on his face.

Great store & so impressed that they had several items we were looking for - moxie in a bottle, crickets in different flavors, etc!

Both the owners (husband and wife) are disgustingly rude. Makes me wonder why they have a shop open if they want to disrespect potential customers.UPDATE:: Not only do they own the candy shop, they also have The Art Glass Jewelry store across the street. That explains their grandiose self entitlement.

Candy is lots of places that aren’t this.Owners threw a giant fit about a small pop-up market hosted by its neighbors outside from 4-9. He spent 4:30-6:30 berating his own potential customers because his interior blocked door was blocked outside.

IT SAYS THEY OPEN AT 10am on google. THEN ON THE DOOR IT SAYS 11am and they’re closed. It’s 10:14 now

The family, and visiting family, popped into Emmy's Sweets Shoppe while we were enjoying the Old Town Spring Big Top Shopping Festival. Emmy's has a wide range of candies, new and classics. They carry Taffy Town brand taffies, gummies in all kinds of shapes, and a variety of chocolates, candy bars, sour candies, etc. We will visit this place again the next time we're in the area.

Store is cluttered and seriously overpriced for packaged goods.Example fun dip is $2.75.. you can get that at common stores for $1.00.Astro pops are $3.75 and they can purchased for $1.75 at every day stores as well. The candy buttons are $.75 to $1.00 online and in other stores, he sales his for $2.75.The candy necklace for kids is also $2.75 and can be purchased elsewhere for $.89 to $1.00.I have been MANY times in the past, but after my last visit I will not go in any longer. They also do a terrible job at displaying the soda availability they have. The old man at the counter is also not friendly.
