We really wanted to love this place but unfortunately both types of tamales we tried(chicken and pork/beef combo) had the texture of sand.

We order tamales here every year and they are usually good. But this time all 5 dozen were very dry and not much flavor. There was hardly any sauce in the meat mixture. And it seams like they are getting smaller and more expensive. Very disappointed will have to find a new place to go.

BUYER BEWARE: Have always liked Granny's Tamales. However, this time got pork tamales and there was no meat in any of the two dozen tamales, just all masa. A total ripoff. Won't be back.

I kept hearing everyone talk about these tamales so finally gave them a try today. I don't understand the hype. They're as skinny as a churro and the taste, well I've had better. I wouldn't go again.

Amazing tamales! Very worth driving over there.Parking: In the back, there is a gravel lot to park in, so it is easy to find a spot.

Today was my first time trying Granny's beef & pork spicy tamales and they were delicious!! I've always gotten Alamo tamales and this year I dropped the ball. But Granny's is closer and just as good if not better.
I ordered online so I could just pick them up. Apparently there is no need to order ahead because when you get there to pick up your order, you still have to wait like you just walked in and placed your order. What is the point of ordering ahead if it isn't going to be ready at the time you select? I had to wait almost an hour because one of the ones I ordered they had to make more. Did they bother to tell me that, no. Then the guy takes my ticket and apparently got confused and waded it up. I had to ask him if that was mine and he said oh my bad. I will never go back to this location. Very I organized and not friendly at all. I hope the other locations are better organized.
