Today was my first time trying Granny's beef & pork spicy tamales and they were delicious!! I've always gotten Alamo tamales and this year I dropped the ball. But Granny's is closer and just as good if not better.

I ordered online so I could just pick them up. Apparently there is no need to order ahead because when you get there to pick up your order, you still have to wait like you just walked in and placed your order. What is the point of ordering ahead if it isn't going to be ready at the time you select? I had to wait almost an hour because one of the ones I ordered they had to make more. Did they bother to tell me that, no. Then the guy takes my ticket and apparently got confused...read full review

I was in OTS last Friday and stopped by. At first glance it was just a holding room but the young lady that attended was sweet natured and helpful. I bought a dozen beef, a dozen chicken, and a dozen spinach and cheese. The tamales were good, somewhat on the smaller side. The masa was tasty and I was left licking my fingers. The prices are good for the OTS location and this little place has their production down to a science.I will go back.
