We randomly stopped in looking for a single tamal and ended up buying a dozen after they gave me some samples. I meant to only eat 3 when we got home, but had to stop when I ran out. We'll definitely be back.
Very good tamales, but given the price I think they were either too small or too expensive. That said, the flavor is great and good options. I'd say some of the food trucks you pass by have a more economical option and may be as good - however, here you have consistency and availability on your side so you pay for some convenience.
Found Granny's Tamales on sheer luck. Was off to a house party/get together, and picked up some tamales on the way.
Friendly service, helpful to make a decision, and was also able to try a few small pieces for my next visit.
The price point is on the higher side for the size. $15 for a dozen. This could be a miss for some due to price point or size.
However, this is the closest I've had to my families own recipe...
