La Madeleine Reviews
Poorly managed. Poorly trained staff. Staffs personal drinks and phone sitting out in areas they shouldn’t be. Waited forever for food. Not even busy. No knives and they couldn’t seem to get any washed. Won’t be back.
The food is good but do not buy the fruit bowl or whatever. It’s definitely not worth 5.00. I was disappointed and will not order it again but other than that, the food is great.

La Madeleine offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with prompt and friendly service. The restaurant features a spacious dining area and a lovely patio, making it a great spot for families and those looking for a comfortable dining experience. The menu includes a variety of options, including vegetarian choices like salads, soups, and pastries, as well as a kid-friendly menu. Their tomato soup is noted as perfection, and the pastries are delicious for dessert. Customers appreciate the cozy, quiet, and peaceful environment, ideal for enjoying brunch alone or with the whole family. The restaurant is also accommodating for little ones, as high chairs and boosters are available. Recent reviews highlight the excellent food and service, with one guest recommending the Bon Bon bacon sandwich over the brioche French toast. Many enjoy the salad/soup sampler, especially the deep creamy potato soup, and find the chicken salad with grapes and slivered almonds tasty. The fresh fruit bowl with melons, pineapple, and grapes is well-liked, though some find the melon not quite ripe enough. The mango tea is described as cold and refreshing. Pastries, including a cherry turnover, are visually appealing and flaky, though the cherry filling is noted as canned pie filling. The pastry case is beautiful, displaying around 40 tempting options. However, the setup can be a bit inconvenient, as customers must step away from the register to choose their pastry, which can disrupt the flow for those waiting in line. The restaurant operates like a cafeteria, with customers taking a tray after paying and then walking down the line to have their food plated, filling their glasses from the soda fountain, and carrying their tray to a table. Overall, the helpful service, delicious food, and inviting atmosphere make La Madeleine a popular choice for meals out.
