This evening was my family’s first time trying this place. We ordered several pupusas and a Mexican burger. My husband called in our order (asked for tomato to be removed from burger). When we got home with the food, we saw most of the pupusas were burnt. The burger had everything on it, despite our request. Burger was supposed to come with avocado, but I did not receive it. The buns of the burger was also burnt. The salsa for the pupusa tasted like straight water. Don’t waste your time or money.

Disappointed with the Bandeja Paisa
I was excited to try La Patrona Cocina Latina for the first time, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa to-go, and the quality was disappointing. The avocado was past its prime, and instead of the traditional beans that give this dish its authentic flavor, they used fried beans, which completely changed the experience.
On the other hand, the chicken soup wasn’t too bad—just a bit greasy, but still decent.
Overall, I expected better quality, especially for a dish as iconic as Bandeja Paisa. Hopefully, they can improve in the future.

I bought chicken with slices and nothing to see, the chicken is not breaded and they always put curtido instead of cabbage or also lettuce instead of cabbage, very bad, why is chicken with slices not like that?
